Has anyone else heard this rumour? According to those who saw the rehearsals, there's a battle between some of the biggest british characters, and some have said that voldemort even fights Mary poppins. Worth a watch just to see that  |

What the heck? That sounds interesting and the opening ceremonies are always somewhat fun to watch. I'm going to try to tune into it in a few hours when it starts.

i'm watching, always love the random creativity of it. in 2008 i heard that stiltwalkers were opening it, but then i had my accident and we had to scrap the idea.

I did see it and it was fantastic the bit with voldemort was very funny but i think that having the cast of the film come on would have been great, especialy as they are know so well world wide.

I laughed when the balloon Voldemort came on at the ceremony and I really enjoyed it.
Oh, and nice link to a story, Wings. It makes sense that someone would take that and write a short story with it.
