Does anybody ever get asked really strange questions about their usernames? Apparently, mine actually gives the impression that I am a Eskimo, which kind of raises the question of how I'd be in the Internet in the first place  I used to be asked the question twice a week on another site I went on, and it drove me mad. Does anyone else have those kinds of problems? |

Nah never but i guess mines pretty straight foward though. what does yours mean because i kind thinkit has something to do with the band eskimo joe am i right o just dead wrong ? |

I get a lot of weird questions about my username, usually just asking how I came up with it. The answer is no freaking idea. My friend was forcing me to sign up for some online game and this was the name he gave to the account. I just stick with it because it's always unused, since it's not really taken from any real world or popular books.

To be honest, it came about out of desperation I was 12 and trying to sign up for a website, but all the good usernames were taken. I got really angry and just typed this in, and and it worked, so I've kept it ever since |

Nice. I've used my name for about three years on various sites. It started on a LotR site and I chose it because I had put my name into an elvish translator and this was the result. It's not my actual name translated, as the accurate way is to translate the meaning of your name, but I do enjoy it and it's always available.

I have not had mine for long and have not had any questions about it. It was the name of my dog that passed away just recently.

Hmm yes I have, not this particular one as it is just a variation of my first that I have been using. The first version is Nya Duprie which I have used since I first started online which has been a very long time lol since about um 96 I think was the first time we got net but was not till about 98 that got really into it. So been a long time.

i've had four. Shaibaby18754 was my first. Shai is my middle name and my sister had me labeled shaibaby in her phone. The numbers was my lunch code at school.
My second was Shea Holsly because that was the name of a fictional character I created for my attempt at creating a book.
My last two that I still use are Asche2793 and Melody...
Asche because thats my favorite character in Tales of the Abyss and my nickname.
Melody because my first attempt at fics I always named them Melody.

My username has gained me a few PMs in the past, no matter which site I go to!
Basically, my name pays homage to the very anime that got me into fanfiction - Gravitation. Their mascot is a pink bunny named Kumagoro.
I shortened it to Kuma and added In Pink because I thought it sounded cool at the time. Heck, I think it still does, even if the name is kind of lame to everyone else. XD
