Have you missed something out of the origonal thread? Put it here!!
Funerals, who knew how hard they could be? It’s been a long time since I’ve been to one. Roughly 19 years ago when Lacey died protecting Lexie, it truly was a tragic one, Lacey was about to give birth when a large dog cornered Lexie, naturally being a mother, she jumped in front. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Kasper that broken before, to be burying a wife, mother and 3 children, siblings in one go. But we aren’t here for them today, were here for the forest creatures that died in combat.
I need to tell him, it’s only fair. I was brought out of my thoughts when Lucinda started the funeral. I couldn’t keep up with the funeral at all. My mind was messed up with my thoughts. What was I to do? Should I go and tell Daddy, Harrigan? Who? Finally the funeral was otherwith and I had made up my mind. I would tell him, Harrigan I mean.
Poor Yew, now was the time to bury her parents. I carefully added the box to the rest of the bodies before stepping back and holding onto Lexie’s hand. Not that she noticed. I wonder what’s wrong with her?

Rhea's Worst Memory:
Five year old Rhea was jerked awake. Thinking it to be her elder sister, Alexis, she stuck out her tongue and kept her eyes such. “Go away Alexis.” Then, there was a laugh. But not Rhea's sister's laugh. Alexis was sweet and giggly in her laughs, this was cold and deep. Rhea opened her eyes just as two arms shot out and picked her up. She would have screamed, had the man not covered her mouth to stop such an action.
“Hello, Little Rhea.” He greeted, an odd, cold glint in his eyes that Rhea didn't like. “I've come to pay your parents my debts... I've come to play with you.” Rhea didn't want to play with this man- he seemed large and scary. She shook her head fiercely, her wide blue eyes full of confusion and fear.
“I want to sleep.” Her voice was small, timid and muffled beneath his hand, he shook his head.
“Not now, Rhea. I don't have much more time- we must begin now or I'm afraid it won't be enough to repay your parents.” With that, he carried the struggling child outside. Into the little shed they had. He opened the door and roughly threw Rhea down to the ground, she squealed in pain, rubbing her bottom. The man grinned as he reached forward and seemingly gently pushed Rhea's long hair behind her ear, “It's almost time.” He whispered to the terrified girl.
Rhea tried to push him away, he was scaring her. She wanted to scream for Daddy. Daddy read Rhea fairy tales of princes saving princesses. Where was Daddy, Her prince? The man covered her mouth and didn't allow her to scream. “Not yet.” he insisted.
It didn't take long for Rhea to realize what the man was waiting for. He stepped away from Rhea and grinned as suddenly- there was no scary man. Instead, a huge, terrifying werewolf had taken it's place. It lifted it's head and howled before pouncing on the girl as she finally was able to scream. Daddy wasn't come to help her, and Rhea was scratched by the big wolf. It bit her and bit her, never tearing away any chunks of flesh. He sniffed Rhea, and looked as thought he did want to devour the child- but only little by little. The Wolf was enjoying Rhea's screams as it bit her.
She didn't know how long, but as the Wolf sank his teeth particularly deep in Rhea's arm, she was able to make out voices... Mommy and Daddy were out there! Her prince had come!
“Deirdre, don't go in there!” It was daddy, he was angry.
“Jace, let me go, we need to save her!”
“They're no saving her. She's disgusting and defiled now! We're better off without an it in the family.
“Jace, If you don't step aside this instant-!”
“He already has her! She's already a filthy monster just like him, just let him finish her off.” Just as Rhea let out another scream while the wolf bit into her small arm, in the same wound as before, she heard what sounded like a hand coming into contact with a face. A slap.
“Your own daughter? You'd let him kill your own daughter?” Her horrified questions were stopped by another agonizing scream as the wolf moved and took pleasure in biting deep into Rhea's thigh. “I can't deal with you right now! Rhea ne-”
“It's not Rhea anymore! It's a wolf now, all it'll want it your blood now! Just let it die!”
“IF YOU DON'T MOVE RIGHT NOW I WILL HEX YOU TO NEXT YEAR!” Not three moments later, Deidre threw open the door and was horrified at the sight. Rhea was still in the same corner, covered in bites and bruises, and the wolf was standing over her, seeming to like biting into the little girl and tasting the flesh it found there. Deidre stumbled back as the wolf moved fast and sprang at her instead. Only now did Jace take action, to defend his wife, and the two parents were able to repel the werewolf, and it ran off into the night, howling.
Rhea slowly got up, and fell back down because she couldn't stand. Her legs hurt to much. It wasn't more then a second before Deirdre was kneeling next to Rhea, mumbling the limited amount of healing charms she knew under her breath. Thankfully, it was enough that, after about ten minutes of little Rhea huddling to her mother, sobbing and Deirdre trying desperately to heal Rhea, a good deal of the cuts were healed up. Deirdre could tell a few would leave scars, and there were two that she couldn't heal- on set of deep ones on Rhea's arm, and another on her leg. Rhea's nightgown was rather ripped and dirty now, so Deirdre put a cleaning charm on them and hoisted the trembling, sobbing girl into her arms.
“Honey... She's not our daughter anymore. She's a monster- a bloody monster! Why don't you just get rid of her? She'll be a taint in the family, who will want to buy wands from someone with a werewolf in the family.” Deirdre didn't even listen to her husband. She merely marched into the house with a sobbing Rhea, Daddy kept tell her that Rhea was bad and should be disposed of, a Werewolf was better off dead.

Just a bit about Lucinda's vow, and the order it works:
Phoenixes and their vows work differently than other creatures, because they're mostly immortal. Whatever their vow, it ties to their immortal flame, binding them for eternity or until the cause is complete. However, phoenix instinct must also take effect.
Every time the vow is broken, the phoenix in question is regressed to chick form. With each transgression comes the risk of losing their magic. Because of this, they instinctively prioritize the vow. Impossible trips around the world are spared, but in exchange, they find themselves pulled to those they can assist.
Lucinda left before she was ready, and so misunderstood the confines of her own vow. Alone, she didn't have the power to go world-wide. If other phoenixes made the vow, it would have spread properly around the world. Instead, Lucinda is in the position of help creatures she can reasonably get to, or ones she already knows need her help.
I hope this makes sense, and sorry for any confusion.
