If anyone has a live journal and still wants to read the stories I've written in response to challenges, friend me on there. I've backed them up so only friends can read the stories. That way, the odds of some prat with a stick up their arse won't report it.
If you're interested, PM me for my username. My paranoia is getting larger and larger as more and more RTB fics are being reported.

LJ is pretty open when it comes to what you can post. They only really ask that you rate things correctly from what I know though I've never looked for RtB fics there.
For anyone that wants to find me there, my username is actually blue_icy_rose and then I have a separate fic journal, passionrulesall, if you want to read mine once I start posting.

*le sigh* Okay everyone. This is my official, holy crap I'm really paranoid right now self talking and not my I love writing self. I'm seriously thinking of removing my RTB fanfictions and just figuring out a way to design the plots of the challenges so that way I could write non-RTB. Just the purging from this site recently makes me more than a little fearful for my Livejournal account.

What's the bet that these morons make the authors take there stories down. Theve done it on fanfiction and here what makes people think they won't take it down on livejournal  |

Well, we know that yourfanfiction will be a safe place for the RtBs. I was a little unsure at first because of having to take out bits, but only taking out one or two short descriptive paragraphs that aren't relative to the story isn't that bad.

True, and I admit that I barely read the original text anymore anyway. After more than a dozen years of HP and countless re-readings of particularly the first few books, I don't need it. So I won't miss it too much. And even for people who don't know the books that well yet it shouldn't be too hard as long as the author considers carefully which paragraphs to take out.

Yeah, sorry everyone but I was talking to my parents about it and they said that I should take it down. Something about how one can never tell who someone is online and then I'll get an email from Livejournal and the rest is history. So I'm withdrawing my name from the RTB community. I'll send you my Quidditch Players story and my Unfinished When Secrets are Revealed but everything else I'm deleting. Maybe I'll come back to this genre when there's not as much attention directed our way.
Again, sorry. But in this day and age, everything can be found if one looks hard enough and I don't want this to be the reason I don't get a job in the future. I'm also debating about entering politics when I'm older and so I'm trying to remove anything that can affect that.

You're not the only one who's pulling out, Mountaingirl is too, and I wish you the best of luck.
Imo, we're losing the best writers of RtBs, and soon all we'll have left are those who write utter crap, and when that happens, I'll miss the days when I could read something really good, instead of utter tripe.

Thanks physicssquid. I'm going to keep my Livejournal account open so that way I can write a non-RTB Beauty and the Beast/HP crossover story without the pressure of updating constantly. Also, a time travel story I'm playing around with.
But I'm not happy of leaving, i just feel the need is too great.

That's sad, Ginny, but I understand. Though admittedly it makes me even more frustrated because this stupid Cyberbully Union keeps targeting the good authors, but leaves the bad ones alone - not rewarding enough, I guess, if they only have one or two reviews per chapter ... At that rate, I'll probably end up going back to my other fandom for good. Anyway, I hope you at least keep popping up here and talk to us and let us know you are still alive and kicking  |

Just set up my LJ account, and posted links to the first four chapters of my story, which I've finally decided to call Memories of War. Friend me because I've set the entries for reading by friends only.
