So, I'm just curious. What's your absolute favorite fanfiction (or series of fanfictions). You can only choose 1. Include the author, please. Also, sorry, but you can't choose yours.  Mine, I'd have to say that Marquis Black's "Emperor" is my favorite, just over Bobmin356's "The Queen who fell to Earth" and its sequel. |

Phoenix Tears Rising by Illeanah is my absolute favourite for Harry Potter.
But I absolutely adore With Noble Intent by Shakespira, though it's a Dragon Age: Origins fanfic.

Tough choice but I would have to go with Darkness Arises: Reborn by Metal Harbinger. It's a Resident Evil fic that deals with RE 2-3 and both Outbreak Files with an OC that is not all powerful but can still kick ass.

Well, this is hard! I have so many stories that I love...
But if I had to pick one, it would have to be the "Sacrifices Arc" by Lightning on the Wave. There are seven fics in it:
Saving Connor,
No Mouth But Some Serpent's,
Comes Out Of Darkness Mourn,
Freedom and Not Peace,
Wind That Shakes The Sea and Stars,
A Song In Time of Revolution,
I Am Also Thy Brother
It's the only "Wrong Boy-Who-Lived" story that I enjoy. The series as a whole is beautiful, tragic and gives you unexpected outlooks at every freaking character. This story is not for the faint of heart, though. It is one of the darkest HP fanfictions out there. There are mentions of rape, child abuse (done really differently) and lots of death.
Fans of Lily and James Potter may not like this series. Same goes for Dumbledore.
If you don't have a problem with them being shown in a negative light, you will have days of wonderful reading time ahead of you~!

Oh man, so hard to choose. One of my favorites is For Love of Family by Arnel 63. If you don't like heartbreaking stories, this is not one for you. It is about Harry and his family in which Harry is seriously injured while on an Auror mission. It's a story of their recovery and the taking down of an evil witch known as the Matron.

For Harry Potter: Harry Potter and the Summer of Change by Lorddwar. It's an amazing story about Harry deciding enough is enough in after his fifth year, and deciding instead of laying around, he is going to change and get stronger. It's a Harry/Tonks pairing with lemons, limes, violence, and death.
For NCIS: it's Mincka83's Smurf Universe. It's an AU with Tony as a Navy Seal, a shit ton of crossover characters, and an amazing plot for each story.

This is so difficult! There are so many, I'm not sure I can actually decide on one (at least, for Harry Potter).
Okay, I picked ones from my favorites (one for each of my preferred fanfic topics), since different fanfic subjects really can't compete with each other for "favorites".

It a redo fic - Harry has his 'all is well' happily ever after and then accidentally transports his mind/ soul whichever back in time to his younger self. It's a really entertaining story with a bit of a crackfic like air about, but still with the drama and angst. It doesn't 'bash' anyone as such, there is more of a sarcastic humor to any that does happen. It also doesn't end the way you would expect it to, as others have. I can't really say much more without spoilers; but it is one o those fics I've read dozens of times because it's always made me laugh.

I really enjoyed one Naruto re-do fic that was more like GroundHog Day than anything. I think it was called Chuunin Exam Day. Don't remember who it's by or if I ever finished it but it was multiple ships because he relived those days so often that he'd have a whole relationship with one girl and then know their whole life, die and have to do it all over again. Anytime he died or got something wrong he had to restart at the same place. Really interesting but I think there was also a bit too much information in it about what he was learning (multiple crafts like metallurgy, carpentry).

Chuunin Exam Day is by Perfect Lionheart. It's not finished, IIRC. It's kinda infamous around some of the Naruto fanfiction forums; not really that well-liked and Perfect Lionheart is regarded as a bit of a joke. There's a similar HP fic called Department of Mysteries Day in which Harry relives that day in OotP over and over and over. It's by Josh the Evil Guy. Check it out! It used to be a pretty NC-17 fic, but the author edited that stuff out.
It's pretty good, though I don't like the author much anymore. The reason he edited it out was because, as I understand it, he had a bit of a temper tantrum because a lot of people really criticized him over one questionable NC-17 scene, so he removed that one... along with every other NC-17 scene in the entire fic

My two favorite Harry Potter Fan fiction series are Writer Sage’s “Reading with the Weasleys” and Point Given’s “For a Better Future.” Point Given’s was deleted, and Writer Sage’s Third installment was deleted too.

I'm really loving Learn to Love by SoulMalady. It's SOOO adorable! 5 year old Scorpius. ^_^

soo difficult but I would have to say ChipmunkOnSpeed- Prodigy and Gryffindor's Never Die.. AU- Given up after that fateful night, a prodigious Harry Potter ends up in America, working as a Lab Tech/Federal Agent. Now his family wants him back, but can he trust their motives? Can he trust his own? Multiple crossovers, list in 1st chapter. Harry and Ron, both 58 and both alcoholics, are sent back to their 4th year and given a chance to do everything again. Will they be able to do it right this time? Or will history repeat itself? Cannon to Epilogue, then not so much... They both have swearing in so I wouldn't be surprised if they get deleted soon.. I mostly read HP and Naruto
HP would have to be "The Lie I've Lived" by 'JBern', followed closely by "On the Way to Greatness" by 'mira_mirth'
In terms of Naruto, "Team 8" by 'S'TarKan' (author also did Nightmares of Futures Past) is one of the best I've read, but its likely discontinued. Crazy, the story has over 10k reviews and it hasn't even reached the time-skip yet... 10k reviews is... I don't even... but not even halfway through the canon story?

Part of it, I didn't get to finish it yet. But it's really good so far. I know she does beta work for Cara No who write my favorite mobward story called This Life. But Cara No is an awesome writer too. She write all HEA, even if it takes a bit to get there. She has a Facebook page for her stories. Sexylexicullen is in there under slexi Cullen.

It's my favorite mob story. I don't think I've ever read Cara no's stories. I have them on my to read list. Yeah, I follow Slexicullen..  and her group quiet storm on facebook. Lexi will always have an HEA, and no Edward cheating. |
