Not at the moment. It could be any number of problems though, not just the server. *shrug*

When I checked the general board list, to see what threads had been updated earlier, I got a message in my browser saying, 'problem loading page: the connection to the server may have been reset', but five minutes later I didn't have a problem at all. It was very weird.

Yes, earlier this afternoon I could not get in, it kept bringing up the diagnose connection problems screen and then again just a few minutes ago, the same thing. The diagnostic said the site was online but not accepting or something.

Huh.... Well, do all of you have anything in common such as location or something like that? Or ISP? 'cause I'm not having any problems like that.

uk, seattle, alabama, so I don't think location plays into it. and it is fine for me now, It was just an hour or so that was giving me grief.

I'm in England, so I can't see how location could be a factor at all, and anyway, the problem only lasted five minutes or so, and I haven't have a problem since.

On another site I learned that that sort of thing happens in case of too many accessing the site at the same time and the servers being overloaded by it. Usually waiting a few minutes and trying again works. Seeing as proboards probably has many different boards running on the same server, I suspect it might be something like that. Or they might have done some maintenance that slowed the thing down.
