Eleazar raised an eyebrow as Alice seemed to be... Frustrated? Worried? However, he didn't press and instead answered. "A leopard, I think it suits me." He took hold of the tea and muffin, "Thank you."

"Mine's a gazelle," Alice said with false cheer, "And it does suit you. I've never seen a real leopard before. Have you?

"Gazelle? That is pretty much a perfect match." He grinned, "Only in picture... Maybe after this is all said and done, I'll go to one of those muggle zoo's I've heard about to look."

"Thank you," said Alice, a small smile on her face, "We should all go. So many trips planned in the future. I'm already planning to go with Maxwell to visit a garden for a picnic, and now a zoo!"

If Eleazar had raised an eyebrow before, it practically hit the ceiling now. "W-what? Picnic with maxwell?" He wasn't sure how to respond. He hated the idea of Alice with Maxwell- or... well... Anyone for that matter.

"Yes," said Alice, surprised by Eleazar's uncertainty. Had she said something wrong? "We've been there before, but with Cassie at the time. Now though, well, I'm not sure how we're going. We had a picnic yesterday as well, when I came to check up on him."
She remembered the picnic and blushed slightly, unconsciously bringing her fingers to her lips, remembering the almost-kiss.

"Uh..." Eleazar looked for a response. "Er... Alice... Are you an him... er..."

Alice looked to Eleazar in surprise, snapping out of her reverie. She blushed a deep red, realizing what Eleazar meant. Why did everyone seem to guess that? She laughed nervously, "No, not at all. I mean, I like him, but I don't know what he feels for me."

"Oh." Eleazar also went quite red, "Well... erm... If he... er... doesn't like you, then he doesn't know what he's missing out on." He gave an equally nervous grin and tried not to seem upset that Alice had feelings for Maxwell. Eleazar was much happier if Alice was happy without some guy.

Alice smiled at Eleazar's words. He was always so supportive, though he seemed awkward today. Despite her embarrassment, she was glad Eleazar approved in his own way. While it wasn't an outright yes, she was glad he didn't give her an outright no either.
"Am I that obvious?" she asked with false annoyance, "Everyone seemsmto guess when I just mention his name."

Eleazar proceeded to roll his eyes, calming down a bit and regaining proper speech, "Alice, it's not that your obvious really, I wouldn't notice that sort of thing... But why else would you go on a picnic with someone?"

"Well..er," she thought about it for a minute. Yes, it was a rather obvious setting, and Maxwell had come along. Had he wanted to be with her too? Why was this all so hard? "I suppose it was a rather dead give away. When it's your turn to tell me about a girl going on picnics with you, I guess I'll know how you feel too."

Eleazar laughed, "I'll be sure to let you know."

Odin was not very happy right now, he has only hours before turned back to human, and now he had to go fight. But he wasn't going to complain, it wasn't that big of a deal, and he wasn't about to bring his werewolf genes into the open. However, the fact that he was grumpy did nothing to improve his unpleasant portrayal. Now, he apparated in front of the Ivory house, and marched up to the door, which he proceeded to knock on rather loudly.

Alice smiled back with Eleazar, when she heard a knock on the door. "Coming?" she called to Eleazar, as she moved to get the door.

Glancing toward he direction of the door, Eleazar nodded and got up to follow Alice.

Humming a cheerful tune, Alice grabbed a cup of tea and a muffin for the new guest. She smiled widely as she opened the door and called out, "Welcome! Breakfast?"
To her horror, it was Odin. She suddenly felt extremely silly holding the plate and tea out as the taunt of mouse resounded in her head.

Odin had one hand on his head, fighting off the headache that often plagued him after a full moon, when the bright and loud voice pierced through his head. He glared down at the girl who held the plate- the girl who, a moment ago, had been so cheery and helpful- just like....
"I'd rather not touch rodent food." He responded in a cold tone. "So, if you'd please move aside, I'd prefer not to squish the mouse."
---
Eleazar wasn't far behind, and Odin didn't notice him as the larger man taunted Alice. Eleazar immediately glared at Odin and retorted, "There's no need to be rude. She simply offered you some food."

Alice felt the familiar cold stab as she moved back towards Eleazar. It was easy to see that Odin had just been through a transformation. He looked tired and pale. She brought the tea and muffin close to her as though trying to avoid Odin's criticism.
"It's fine Eleazar," she whispered, trying to prevent a fight. Then she turned to Odin, "Just because it's made by me doesn't mean you don't need it! You've spent the night under a transformation, food will help."
She sounded much braver than she felt. Odin made her uncomfortable with his taunts.

Eleazar looked at Alice incredulously. But, he reluctantly dropped it, though he kept a warning stare on the bigger man.
---
Much like Eleazar, Odin looked vaguely surprised. But he quickly discarded the emotion. Damnit! She even acted like her! However, the words of Alice reminded him strongly of how his Mother had always given him a nice meal when he awoke in human form, and he couldn't procure anger toward his mother. So, In a tone more annoyed then angry, he replied. "I've eaten plenty already." With that he tried to side step the memory by asking, "Is the meeting in the same room?"

"It's in the Entrance Hall," said Alice, doubting Odin's claims of eating. "We're not ready to go just yet. Just follow Eleazar and I. And just keep the food with you. Werewolves tend to get hungrier during the day after."
With that, she nervously shoved the plate to Odin, and to her horror, watched the tea cup wobble, before spilling on Odin.

The tea pooled on Odin's robe as he found himself gripping it when Alice foolishly thrust it at him. Eyes hardening once more, he shoved the plate back at Alice to do a cleaning charm. "Little mice should be more careful. Because when wolves get hungry, they want more then the mouse's cheese." He began to walk past Alice, intending to hustle to the Entrance Hall, then his way was suddenly blocked.
---
Eleazar was holding his breath for Odin's reaction, and his blood boiled when Odin threatened Alice like that. Quickly, he stepped in front of the werewolf, wand out. "Don't you even dare threaten her." He said angrily, "It was an accident, and you'd do best to apologize."

Alice felt the blood drain from her face as Odin spoke. She swallowed nervously, trying not to quiver. It was fairly obvious what Odin was implying, and his anger played on her nerves. She was terrified of the seriousness in his threat. Then Eleazar stepped forward. Alice immediately snapped out of her shock and turned to face the two, holding the muffin. While she understood where Eleazar was coming from, this was no time to get into a fight!
"I-I'm so sorry! Please let me help!" she said to Odin quickly, before turning to Eleazar and saying, "It's just a misunderstanding. Let's not drag it out!"

"Help?" Odin replied incredulously, "How in the name of merlin's left boot could you help?"
---
Eleazar, while having listened to Alice before, would not let it go again. "Alice, If this is how he treats you, then it has to be stopped. He has no right to be so... Rude and vicious!"

Alice tried to smile at Eleazar reassuringly, but Odin's anger made her flinch first. She moved and pet Eleazar's arm in what she hoped was comforting.
"I don't mind!" she squeaked, "He's not serious anyways!"
Then she turned to Odin, trying to find a solution. "I-I cam check the tea didn't burn, or make it up in some other way?"

"Serious? I'll sho-" Odin cut off, after all- he couldn't really hurt Alice. Stupid vow. He quickly continued, "I don't need your damn help, there is no burn." Despite his words, there was definitely lingering heat where the tea has spilled, suggesting a minor burn. But nothing serious, nothing to worry about.
---
Eleazar didn't know how to respond. He didn't want to upset Alice, but there was no way he would let her be treated like this. So, instead he fell into a confused silence, noting that if Odin kept at it, then he'd have a private chat with the werewolf.

"Are you sure? There must be some way I can help you, to make up for spilling hot tea," Alice said earnestly. "I can wash the robe, or um, help you with a chore? I really am sorry! Let me make it up to you!"

"If you want to make it up to me," Odin began in low tone, "Then stay away from me." He glared at her for a moment before turning to leave. Eleazar wasn't blocking his path any more, so Odin began toward the Entrance Hall.

Alice watched him walk away, amazed that the tea hadn't burnt him. She felt the odd itch to make sure it was true though, just as the doorbell rang.
"Can you get that Eleazar? I just need to do something quickly," she asked politely.

"Of course I won't," she said with a mock pout, before dashing away to find Odin.
After searching the Entrance Hall, she found him near a darker corner of the room, wiping down his robe. She removed her wand, and muttered a quick diagnostic spell at him, only to discover the beginning of a burn! He'd lied to her! Worried, she moved to approach him.
"You are burned!" seh exclaimed.
