Eleazar turned to answer the door, and saw Lacey. "Hello," he greeted in a voice that was polite, but not open or friendly. "The meeting is in the Entrance Hall."
---
Lacey smiled at Eleazar, she was very excited. This was her chance! To murder those filthy half-breeds and purify their community, "Hello!" She replied cheerily, Then she saw the plate of tea and muffins. She picked one up and gave it a little bite, "Delicious!" Nothing would upset her today.
---
Odin looked up from the spot where had had been quietly fuming. Stupid girl and her stupid niceness and stupid hair... stupid eyes. The stupid girl, which was now back. Odin gave her an exasperated face. "Yes, yes, I tell you exactly how to help me, and you ignore me completely. How nice." He ignored the little point of his lie.

"But you're burned!" argued Alice. "And how can I help you by ignoring you! I said I would make it up to, and this is how I want to help! Let me heal the burn, and we'll call it quits, alright?"
Her Healer persona shone through her previous nervousness as she stood her ground.

"If I let you heal the damned burn, will you go away and leave me alone?" Odin asked grumpily. He hated having to give in, but he couldn't hurt the girl, and he doubted Alice was going to go away on her own.
----
"They are quite good." Eleazar agreed rolling his eyes, "Nice to have something to eat before the battle."
---
"I can't wait for the battle myself," Lacey grinned in a rather sadistic way, "I'm going to kill as many of the half-breeds I can. Maybe some centaurs- horrible creatures have been thinking themselves better then humans for centuries! How about you?"

'Alright," agreed Alice. "Follow me, my supplies are upstairs." With that, she watched him carefulky as she began moving upstairs.

He didn't go quietly. Odin huffed and glared and mumbled under his breath. Why couldn't she just leave him alone, and stop bringing up memories of him as a child, being fussed over by his mother? However, Odin didn't reply and simply followed angrily, feeling an odd impulse to stamp his foot like he was just a boy again.
---
Eleazar blinked, this woman seemed to simple and sweet, but so sadistic. "Er... I don't really have a vendetta against a specific creature..." But wait. That was a lie. One thought of Rosemarie and her current state, brought his blood to a boil and he quickly added, "Well, not really. I'll probably be going after those accursed unicorns. Foul creatures, they are."
---
"Unicorns?" Lacey inquired, "What have they done to upset you? An odd choice of hatred. Not that I object."

Once they reached the drawing room, Alice dug through her pure for some Burn Paste. Once she found it, she turned to Odin, and suddenly felt nervous being alone with him again. Swallowing, she timidly asked, "Could you please remove your robe so I can see the burn?"

Odin sighed, and did as he was told. He shrugged off the robe and exposed his chest. Where the tea had spilled, a mild burn was resting. Elsewhere, his chest had quite a number of scars on them- courtesy of his Werewolf self and his inadequacy at healing, and being to prideful to ask for assistance in getting rid of cuts to prevent scars. Odin continued to stay silent, there was simply nothing to say.
----
"A unicorn attacked my younger sister." Eleazar replied simply, not wanting to go into details.
---
"Blasted thing." Lacey spat, "If I were you, I'd hunt down whatever Unicorn that did it and give them a good beating."

Alice gasped at the scars. Many suggested improper healing. She suddenly felt horrible for the poor werewolf. Was this the real effect of transforming?
"Take a seat please," she said as she approached him with her burn paste.

Odin's placid appearance went back to his normal glare at Alice gasped. As he sat down he grumbled, "Apologies if I'm not up to expectation."
---
"When I meet whatever Unicorn that did it, you can be sure I'll take care of it." Eleazar then shook his head, "This isn't the time for this. We should head to the entrance hall to wait."
---
Lacey looked vaguely disappointed, she'd prefer to plan the Unicorns torture, but instead she nodded and said. "Alright then." With that, the two headed for the entrance hall.

"These are improperly healed," she explained, red-faced. "Have you never consulted a Healer before? I'm going to apply some of the burn paste now, so please hold still." As she spoke, she unscrewed the paste and moved to sit beside Odin on the couch. She dipped her hand in the cool burn paste, and began slowly rubbing it on Odin's chest. She was slightly embarrassed to be doing this, bUt ignored it as a professional Healer.

"No, I haven't. I did fine on my own, nothing wrong with a few scars." His mother had always fixed him up after the full moon when he was younger. Of course, she was a Muggle, so she couldn't use magical remedies, but she did alright with muggle healing- Odin didn't have many scars from his childhood, most were from after his Mother passed.
Odin didn't react a lot to the paste, he had a good enough poker face that he didn't look embarrassed. It wasn't very painful, so the most he did was flinch about a millimeter away at first, but that was it.

As Alice applied the paste, she was taken aback with Odin's cooperation. She'd expected him to get angry with her, or ask to do it himself. She was confused by why he was allowing her to touch him, when he supposedly hated her. Aa she met his eyes, the question ran through her head. She dipped them back down nervously, as she replied, "There isn't anything wrong, but it's better to recieve proper Healing. Let me check your new injuries from the transformation."

"No, all you are supposed to be dealing with is a burn, nothing more." Odin replied promptly, all he wanted was to get out of here. "After all, considering the fight I'm about to go into, it'd just be a waste of time."

"But it makes more sense going into a fight fully healed," replied Alice, feeling frustrated. Why did he have to shoot down her attemots at helping? She didn't realise that she'd said that thought aloud, though as she frowned.

"I don't need your help. Neither do I want your help. None of my injuries will hinder me in a fight, so you will not work on them." He gave her a hard look, "So stop trying and be grateful I let you do this much."

"Do you hate me so much that even my attempts at being helpful annoy you?" asked Alice, feeling miserable. What had she done to be hated like this?

Odin considered how to reply and quickly decided. "Quite so." Though perhaps annoy wasn't the best word choice, Haunt would probably be better.

"It's none of your concern." Odin's reply why swift and harsh as he considered just leaving. He didn't need this, and he wasn't about to tell his life's sorrows to this mouse.

"But what did I do? Nobody hates someone for no reason!" said Alice, frustration pouring through.

"Because you're bloody annoying!" Which was only half true, but it was quickly becoming a reason.

"You've hated me since you laid your eyes on me," argued Alice. She was surprised she hadn't cowered yet. Maybe it was because Odin had let her heal him, but she felt braver knowing that he was opening up to her in telling her these things.

"You looked annoying." His excuses were becoming pathetic, but what else could Odin do? He was supposed to be large and menacing, but he couldn't get this girl to leave him alone, because of the stupid vow. Telling the mouse about his Mother would ruin his reputation for sure, and he wasn't about to be known as a softie.

"And?" she prompted, meeting his gaze. He was deliberately avoiding her question, and she could see it in his eyes.

"Not at all," said Alice stubbornly, "If you won't let me help you, at least explain to me why I'm so horrible that my help is unnecessary."

Odin was getting tired of this little mouse treading to far into the wolf den. She was going to get herself eaten if she didn't watch it- after all, the vow only said that he couldn't hurt her. But he knew plenty of people he could pay to do the job. Odin stood up abruptly, stepping around Alice and glaring at her. "I don't need this, and neither Maxwell or that boy are always going to be there to protect you, so watch yourself and don't play with wolves."

Alice jumped at Odin's anger. She was startled at how he got angry. It made her shake at his glare. She licked her lips, and tried to defend herself, "I-I can protect myself!"
