I found a little tidbit about one of the Halloween movies that can be sort of connected to Harry Potter.

Halloween II was released in theaters on October 30th, 1981, a day before Lilly and James was murdered.

For anyone who hasn't seen the movie, it's about this sadistic serial killer named Micheal Myers who tries to murder his sister.

I enjoy them, but my favorite was the remake, simply for entertainment value.
