"None of my elder sisters," Rylan replied, "Though the others should all be around somewhere." He shrugged, not giving it much thought.
(Sure, to the homes thread for Rylan's house?)

Henry Tailor had struck gold with his idea. It had been a difficult thing to pull off, using all his wits. He'd magicked his violin to play a song meant to be interpreted one way by muggles, and another by wizards. The music lilted in the air, using a powerfully disguised Sonorus charm, wafting through the crowds in the town. The message had been clear. Anyone who was magical was presented the options. Come seek refuge, find a way to hide, and join the Resistance. Over the time, the message had spread all over Britain via wizards and witches alerting each other. The goal was set.
The location was perhaps the vaguest place Henry could think. He'd chosen a large valley at the edge of the Forest. Setting up an Apparition point had been relatively easy, but placing the necessary wards had not. By night-fall, Henry was exhausted. But the lean man propped himself up at the height of the cliff, overlooking the valley. He watched as people began to show. They came in small groups, a man and his wife, a group of brothers, a lone father. They were coming without children, coming slowly and uneasily. If they were caught, they were doomed.

Annalise stood near to Henry, shifting nervously as she waited. There was a chance that this could go very wrong, and they needed as many wizards as possible on their side.

Not far, a small group of pirates made there way to the town. However there was no cause for alarm- now was not the time for looting. The pirates were simply bored. Among them, most peculiarly, was a woman.
Sylga was laughing with a crew mate, having a laugh at the expense of Sylga's betrothed, who pouted only a few feet away.

"Don't go far Delilah! It's getting late," called her mother as the beautiful young girl stepped out of the doors. She simply flipped her blonde braid over her head as she walked out into the night air.
The moon was beginning to rise as the sun in the sky settled. The teenager could see the eyes of the lecherous new sailors staring at her as she walked by, and she didn't blame them. Delilah looked like a picture, dressed in a bright orange, rather than modest colors. Her skin appeared creamy, and soft. Her blonde hair was done like an autumn Princess. But she oddly felt irritated by the stares today. Couldn't she take a walk in peace, rather than be stared at?
As she neared the dock area, she heard raucous laughter, and like many villagers, stopped to stare at the most peculiar site. Pirates. Her eyes widened, and her mouth formed a little 'o'. Her father complained about pirates all the time. You could always tell who a pirate was from their dress, and having grown up near the docks, Delilah knew immediately what they were. She stared especially at the woman. She'd never heard of a woman sailor before, let alone a pirate!
Frowning, however, Delilah noticed many villagers parting and moving along different paths. Apparently they feared the pirates. Cowards. She harrumphed and kept walking, slowly nearing the pirates as they made their way in opposite directions, their paths just about to cross.

As the group made there way around town, making a ruckus all the while with their boisterous play. They got several dirty looks, all of which stopped the moment a pirate reached for their sword with a threatening expression. The peasant would yelp and hurry away, causing the pirates to roar with laughter.
Eventually they calmed down as they looked for a good pub to camp for the night when they began to pass a young girl, very pretty. Several gave off some wolf whistles- though of course, the less-than-norm modesty hardly phased them as Sylga was wearing what was basically a bra.
Said Sylga grinned across at the approaching girl, and decided on a whim to go up to her. Merrily the female pirate bounded over to Delilah, spinninga round so that Sylga was walking alongside Delilah, " 'Evening! What is a pretty face such as yourself doing walking about alone?"

Delilah stared at the new woman as she approached, her eyes wide when she took in her attire. It was so entirely immodest! She could see the woman's tanned skin, the darkness of the curves of her breasts. It was erotic, immodest, vile, and sensual. Like a sinful devil. She stepped away for a minute, her face bright red in shock.
"I'm making my way to the docks," she curtly, "Alone."
There, now the devil woman would leave. Her face was still bright red, and she looked away, embarrassed at such exposure in a woman. Especially a woman beside her.

"Now don't be like that!" Sylga said with a huff, pouting. The pirate(ress?) continued along with the girl despite her protests.
"You have my approval! The docks are quite where the fun is at, Missy. Well... Not quite the Docks, but what comes after!"

Delilah was resolutely avoiding staring at the woman, despite her atrocious attire. Did her father not sew her garments? She walked towards the docks, but her interest couldn't help but be piqued at what the woman said. The Ocean. The beautiful sea.
"Well, I have never been to the sea, and nor do I plan to," she said firmly, "I'd best be on my way then. Your crew must be awaiting your presence."

Upon hearing that Delilah had never been to see, Sylga widened her eyes in mock horror in front of the girl. "Never mind them! Those arses will be perfectly find on their own... You mean to tell me you've never been on the waters? Never on a boat or felt her rock back and forth as waves pushed her around? What a tragedy for a girl such as your self to be missing out on so much. You simply must experience it for yourself!"

Delilah frowned as they neared the ramp to the docks, hating the way the woman described the sensation. Instead she threw her head back and gave a mock look of importance, as though the woman was beneath her. Perhaps her fear was evident in her eyes, and her desire, but Delilah refused to acknowledge those emotions.
"I'm a woman," she said shortly, "A lady if you will, and ladies don't go to sea, madam. Now if you'd excuse me, but that sort of language is not tolerated in my presence!"

"A lady?" Sylga snorted in a most un-ladylike fashion. "Am I not a lady? I have been on the seas all my life- I was born on her beauty! Being a lady is no reason to deprive oneself of the ocean and her magnificence." She took no heed of Delilah's latter comment.
"How rude of me," Sylga said in a slightly mocking tone as she pretended to be 'proper', "I seem to have forgotten myself! My name is Sylga, and you?"

"None of your business," said Delilah to this Sylgia woman, frowning as she continued to walk. Her steps stopped as she reached the ocean, and gazed out to it's vast beauty. Apparently charmed and silent. Her nose breathed in the smell of salt air, and for a moment, she was peacefully silent, quite, and like another person as she took in the air.

Sylga fell quiet as she walked alongside the girl, ignoring the fact that her presence was obviously unwanted. When the two reached a vantage point and Sylga saw how Delilah reacted to the ocean, she smiled.
"Isn't she a beauty?"

"Yes," breathed the teenager softly, as shr gazed longingly at the sea. Her heart was hammering in her chest, as though she gazed at a lover. The sea was her love. She sighed happily, a pretty smile, demure smile on her face. She took a few steps forward, but paused as she reached the edge of the dock, fearing an invisible line of sort, banning her from going any further.

The pirate grinned, having got a much better response from the girl. Sylga was a bit surprised by the obvious awe and wonderment in Delilah's face; Sylga found herself really pleased by it. As Delilah walked along toward the dock edge, the pirate was only a half step behind.
At the edge, she looked across the waters- the magnificent waves, which were small and meek tonight. In such ripples was an image of the crescent moon from above, gently lighting up and making the sight quite impressive to behold.
Sylga wanted to reach out and touch the water; she looked over and contemplated the look in the eyes of the girl beside her. After a moment, Sylga quietly reached over and gave a mighty push, aiming to drag Delilah in as Sylga impulsively jumped into the waters below.

As the cold water splashed onto Delilah's face, she suddenly realized it was hitting her every where. Her hands began to flail, dicing the choppy waters and a loud scream escaped her throat. She couldn't swim! Her heart hammered as the water beat against her body, as she flailed her legs and arms, trying to keep her head above water.
"Help!" she screamed, her dress weighing her down in the water as her braid slapped against her face. "Help!"
She began to cough as the sea water entered her mouth, choking her as it did. Her body was struggling to keep up, and she began to feel dizzy. The world was slowly going black before her eyes, as her arms gave out.

At first, nothing seemed amiss. Sylga didn't realize that Delilah was having serious trouble- she simply figured that Delilah was surprised and had a slow reaction. The first "Help" didn't clue her in, Sylga simply grinned and giggled a bit.
Then the girl went under. Sylga's eyes went wide- why couldn't she swim? She had not even considered such a possibility as it was so natural to her- something that everyone knew. "For the love of..." She cursed before quickly diving to wrap her arms around the drowning girl.
The dress's weight was another thing Sylga had not considered- the water pulled the fabric down, claiming the threads for its own. Mentally cursing once more, Sylga gave a great heave as she found the pole that held the dock up and tried to show the girl where it was- to get her to grab it. Meanwhile, Sylga was just about to break the surface, arms firmly around Delilah's waist as she kicked furiously.

Delilah coughed and spluttered as they finally reached the surface. Air filled her lungs again, as water was coughed back out. She was soaked head to toe, and she barely realized she was being lifted by someone. Her dress was slowing the swimmer down, but she noticed the pole, and her hands reached out, weakly clinging to it as she coughed up the last remnants of water. Her head was spinning, and she looked around weakly, before realizing she was under the docks.

Sylga took in a nice large gulp of air as she broke to the surface. On arm was wrapped around the girl, holding her close to the pirate's chest and side protectively while the other arm gripped the pole. Now her legs calmed and only softly kicked around to keep them up.
For a moment, Sylga was very worried, even a bit scared; a feeling which she rarely felt and always hated when it came about- then the girl coughed. In response, Sylga began to laugh. She was relieved, and couldn't stop laughing. In hopes of not offending the girl too further she managed to choke out, "Sorry! So-" she giggled again,"very much sorry. I didn't realize you couldn't swim! Normally everyone around me knows how to swim! That's what I get for being on a ship and around pirates most of my life."

Hearing the insane laughter beside her, Delilah turned to see the crazy pirate woman. Despite her apology, Delilah was furious. She glared at the woman, her strength slowly returning as she ordered in her best little-miss tone, "Get me out of the water, now!"

Sylga once again paid no heed to the girl's anger. Instead the pirate rolled her eyes and grinned mischievously.
"Not so fast Little Miss Princess, it's not going to be that easy. You're going to learn to swim and get to shore yourself. Swimming is quite the useful skill and you'd be good to learn it. What if I hadn't been willing to save your highness?"
Sylga gingerly began to let go of the girl, making sure she had a good enough grip on the pole and wouldn't slip back into the water before doing so. "It's not that difficult. You just lie flat and kind of splash your hands and kick your legs."

Delilah spluttered random angry words as she stared in horror at the woman. She couldn't be serious, could she? How the hell was she going to swim? She stared at the woman's movements, before sniffing and turning away. It was starting to get cold, and she was shivering.
"How am I to swim in this?" she said, pointing to the skirt, heavy and flowy around her legs.

"Hmm... that is a problem. I don't know how you get around in that awful thing. I much prefer the freedom that is not being confined by so much fabric! Doesn't it get hot?" Sylga considered the girl's plight before deciding,
"Here's the thing. We're both girls here, and no one else is around to see your highness. Every one of you proper people has some sort of garment under your fancy dresses, so you'll be fine to take that thing off. Besides, with the water weight holding it, I'd have a problem getting you too shore myself." Well... not really. Sylga could easily do so, but she wasn't about to tell Delilah that.

Within a heart beat, Delilah paled dramatically, almost white as she stared at Sylgia. Her eyes followed down to what the woman was wearing, and she flushed a bright red. Her eyes darted to the shore, and then to her dress. It was so completely immodest! She was no scarlet woman! How dare the trollop pirate suggest such a thing. Not to mention the dress was expensive! But her arms grew weak holding that damned pole, and she was quite cold now.
"Could you undo the corset for me?" she asked, her face quite red as she looked down at her dress, ashamed.

"There we go, Princess! Nice to see you have a good head." Quite pleased that the girl didn't prove to be stuck up like most villagers in Europe, Sylga swam around and slowly undid the corset as it was very confusing and took awhile to figure out. "How do you manage to live with this thing on? It's so complicated, and must be like someone pressing against your lungs all day! So much confinement. I don't understand how you could wear this atrocity..."

"It's the height of fashion," said Delilah snobbishly, "Besides, my aunt crafted this for me using only the finest fabric. She's going to be so upset when she learns I ruined it, all because someone tossed me in the water!" As the dress slipped off, it sank down, not even floating as the fabric went below the surface, until the orange could no longer be seen. The girl was no blushing in her cotton petticoat, which revealed far too much bosom, clinging in an unholy manny to her skin in that light blue shade, damp now as it pressed against her. She clung to the pole, embarrassed at her own immodesty.

Snorting, Sylga rolled her eyes. "Come now, surely your auntie would much rather you not drown than have a stupid dress that is just going to suffocate you one day anyway. I'll make it up to you by teaching you to swim!" Looking quite pleased with herself Sylga swam to the other pole of the down, circling it happily as she chattered, "So basically you have to lean forward and splash your hands like really fast clock hands, and kick your feet."

If Sylga thought that her explanation was helping in anyway, it wasn't. All the teenager could do was throw the woman a confused and angry glare. Clock hands? What did that even mean? She glared heavily at the women, and imperiously said, "I have no interest in your games. Get me to the shore at once!"
