Grinning along with his Father, Jacobson reflected on how he'd missed this, a nice friendly chat with his father. With the oncoming onslaught, such conversations would become scarce, so the prince would have to make these ones count. Unfortunately, before they could continue a peon came and informed them that it was nearing time to depart. Immediately Jacobson collected himself and sobered up. In response to his father he said,
"I'd quite like to ride up with the soldier if you don't mind father."

Isaiah, holding his mothers' hand, quite looked like he'd enjoy a ride. However, he much like many boys of the time dreamed of being a magnificent warrior, and the first step was protecting his mother. The little boy, therefore, would not leave his mothers' side. The little girl, Bailie, in Denise's arms was not inclined in the slightest to move. Currently the princess had become attached to her mother in a way that would make her most distressed to be separated, though she was intrigued by how pleased her older sister seemed.
Before replying, Elise looked toward Denise. The mother nodded and the girl than perked up and pointed toward the carriages, "Carriage!" She ordered, quickly adding as she got a look from Denise, "Please?" Denise smiled in encouragement, and Elise giggled.
