How to Play:
If in the Quarters of their rooms, use the Homes and Quarters thread. Otherwise, use the Academy for any training that is occurring and any other areas. May expand the Academy into further threads if required.
Lord Byron stood at the walls of the large Fort in the counties of Hampshire. It was only a few hours ride from the castle. After his wedding to Lady Jacquelyn, he and his newly wed wife had ridden to the Training Academy, not even taking a moment to enjoy their wedding night and consummate their marriage. Byron assumed from Jacquelyn's relief, she had been just as glad to avoid touching him as he had her. Just moments ago, he'd left her in their quarters after taking her virginity and finalizing their marriage vows. He had no desire to stay and hold his new wife in their bed.
"The preparations are made, Lord Byron," said one soldier, fiddling uneasily as he approached the man, "We, well er, the path is set so the royal family will be welcomed."
"I see," said Byron icily, "And are their quarters ready? Do tell me the maids have seen to it that the Main House is set."
"Yessir," said the man, "The quarters are set sir! The trainees will start pouring in in two days time, sir!"
"Don't you think I know that?" asked Byron coldly, "Be gone."
The man scurried away as Byron gazed out into the distance. The sun had set, the night air was cool. He was positive that this was his calling. By the end of this week, he'd have begun the preparations to strike down witches once and for all. No magic-user would be safe in England once he was through with them.
