Okay, so this is gonna sound a bit weird, but I'm doing a project on teenagers and the different types of pressures they face. I know a few, but there are some out there that I don't, and I really want to cover some of the less well known ones too. I was wondering if you could help and let me know what you think is a pressure teenagers face?

When they leave school - jobs, college, university, drugs, alcohol, pregnancies, smoking, why the truant from school, home life, carer for a parent, peer pressure, re drugs/alcohol, bullying - both in person and from internet (social media sites), child abuse - emotionally, physically or sexually (sexual child abuse is slightly up in UK - more documentation being recorded), race/religion, money.
From what I heard in the news (UK students in secondary education), some teenagers have committed suicide due to bullying on social media sites and/or in person at school.
Go to the local youth and community/outreach centre or similar and ask there. They might give you more details and information on these, and possible other information, little known ones as well. They won't give you details on who they have talked too, but they will give general information on why!
Sorry about the long list, but them are the ones which I have thought off (I am in my thirties).

Well I think be a teenager with a disability is probably the worst thing ever adults want to pity and coddle u and your peers don't see you a mature person on their level or worse when it comes to sexuality they do one of two things the fetishizes you or think all you're good for is pity sex which is really frustrating its not a topic people tend to talk openly about so I thought this video might help you

Underage age drinking is a big issue with the teens here in the states.

Drug and substance abuse for one. Big thing in my school. Pressure to succeed, often what leads to the drug and substance abuse. Peer pressure, another factor of substance abuse. Erm, family is a huge stress. Trying to be independent. Coming to terms with the fact that your parents aren't actually all that great and can't help you (Rich brats who get caught abusing substances suffer from this one most of the time) Appearance, medical issues, university applications.

I'd say a pretty important one is dealing with parents with addictions or depression. Alcoholic parents affect pretty much a teenagers whole life.
