Nope, but I live in the middle of the country and on the top of a hill, so I don't think I count

Oh, it seems I have missed too much over the last days, not reading the paper or watching the news! Stay safe, all of you UK people!

Not flooded in, I live on a hill Although I wish I had been though, I had to walk through hell and back to get to school. Unfortunately I need a new umbrella. Anyway, hope other Britonians (not sure what to call people native to the UK, but this sounded cool ) are okay!

The estate where I live is on top of a hill, but a good 50 metres high above the River which comes near by, plus a quarter/half a mile walk to the river and motorway (depending on which direction you go). Also there are quarries near by and they will also grab up some of the water.

Are you asking where we were back in 1981, or where we live now?
I wasn't born in 1981, and currently live in a small village called Sunningdale, about three miles away from Royal Ascot and about eight miles from Windsor.

Floods... Wonderful.
My country has been hit by some storms over the past few years. No one got killed luckily, but everyone got advised to stay home. Remember something important got destroyed in a storm, and they rebuild it, but then it got destroyed again by a second storm some time later.

I'm on a hill and we could make it to the main shops so were happy with that, we can't use the car anymore and most of the bus routes are flooded but Mum refuses to let me out of the house anyway so I'm fine.

There are flooding on minor roads, especially when road is near to the river/canals. For majority of the flooding in the North West is standing water, not good enough drainage.
