I just found out that FFnet is now blocked on my network!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even know what it is blocked for, usually they say if it blocked for porn, lingerie, binkins, nudity, ect. but it doesn't! I'm pissed! it just happened today, I could get on fine just a few hours ago.

Oh. Yeah, I started to wonder if FF.net suddenly could block people from attending the page, which is pretty stupid, when they won't even allow users to delete their profiles

yeah. It's stupid that they blocked the site since there isn't anything bad about it! if I can't get on anymore I was wondering if someone could save and send me a story that I love called "War Widow" it is an HP fic and another HP fic called "Chances Are". Those two are the ones I mainly look out for updates. Also if someone could send me "Rennervate", MBP's fic "Weasley family Heartbreak" and the story "of stars and stones".

ok this is weird. Fanfiction.net is blocked, but now OMG!Yahoo is unblocked. I've never been able to go on OMG!Yahoo, it is always blocked. What in the world is going on!?

I have a yahoo account and the news reel, when I go get my mail, usually has celebrity things in it and sometimes I want to see, if it sounds good, but it is usually blocked because of nudity or bikini/lingerie (which is also weird because victoria secret is unblocked and I would have thought it would be under bikini/lingerie.  who am I....). I was shocked that it was unblocked, I can never get on when I'm here but when I go back to visit family I can. Thanks Kitty. I can get ffnet on my phone, but it isn't the same, plus the font is really small so just a few pages can turn into hundreds. I also don't get reception that well or my battery goes out fast. |

Talked to my director today and we found out that it is only on the wireless that it is happening. He went on his computer in his office and it came up just fine. Plus the whole "it doesn't look like something from our network" kind of worried him as well. when a site is blocked it comes up with an "opendns" page and tells what it is blocked for and such. This is a white page, says that the website is blocked and doesn't say a thing about why...doesn't say anything about openDNS either.

Man, it sounds like someone is screwing with the network or the adverts on ff.net are the cause of the block. Hope you can get this straightened out and if not I'll help by sending some of your requested fics.
