Nice to see you again. It's getting pretty quiet here - too many barely look in any longer or don't say anything. A bit boring in comparison to the initial madness.

Welcome back! Yeah, it's way too quiet now I guess real life is getting in the way, but I seem to check here all the time anyway in the hope that something might have happened.

Same here. I know from experience that there are always times when things are rather quiet on boards and at others it's crazy, but right now it has been quiet for a bit too long already, and some rather active people I haven't seen for ages. Sad, really, but I keep hoping that the pace picks up again.

I agree. I guess lots of people have school to deal with, and Christmas is coming up... It was a lot busier in the summer because everyone was off, so we might just be getting the other side of that. It's a shame, there are lots of lovely people here that I miss

And this is why you gotta improve your aim.
Ahem.

True, I tend to forget how many here are still in school ... so that might explain some of it.

I'm trying to get more involved here and in my fanfiction writing again. First semester of college is hectic, but hopefully I'll be more organized next semester, though I will have more units.

I was definitely more active during the summer since I was first recovering from surgery and then laid off. Now I'm back at work as well as taking a night class so pretty busy.

Oh, I can imagine how you all feel. Had some pretty crazy time myself - if my library is moving ever again during my lifetime, I am going to run for the hills and not returning before they have every last problem solved! But I used this site to relax. No running around getting stuff done, no problems to solve, just some fun

I think every time I get a moment to myself, it vanishes. My teachers must mock me behind my back. I haven't even had time to write lately. It's really bad.. hopefully Christmas turns things around.... :/ Sorry for disappearing on you guys.

Teachers tend to have a sadistic streak - they don't need to be named Severus Snape to keep their poor student more busy than their conscience should allow them! Hopefully, you get some time over the holidays. Not just to come here, but to relax.

Ooh, your talking Sims? I used to love that game! My mom played it since Sims 1 came out, and I always sat on the back of her chair and watched her play . Though I haven't played myself for awhile now.

I had all the sims 2 games, and I would be on it so often my mother would limit my time per day, otherwise I probably wouldn't have surfaced again

I have all the Sims 1, used to have almost all of Sims 2, but then me and my mom fell out of the loop and stopped playing a lost/broke some CDs. I have only Sims 3 and one of it's expansions- The pet on. I also got the Medieval one, which is a bit odd.

Aha, me too I had a few of the Sims 2, Just University Life and Business expansions, and Pets. I had a few Sims 1 that my cousin donated to me when he outgrew Sims and moved on to other games >.> But then Sims 3 came out, and I started getting all the stuff there and I've never gone back to Sims 2 since...

I had all the sims 2 expansions, so it got very... Intense I did consider sims 3, but I just never got around to it.

My favorite has, and is still, Sims 2. Sims 3 changed the whole game play, and I didn't really like it- and the graphics made everything look so... plastic. I don't like it when things try to make something look realistic, and it just looks cheesy. I prefer outright not-real graphics, if that makes any sense. Though Sims 1 has the best soundtracks!

I probably wkd have got into sims 1 more, but I knew all the cheats for two and then after that it was quite frustrated to start from scratch and have to deal with all their motives and building up creativity and things like that im just lazy!

Yeah, it's a bit cheesy on the front... but if you get Sims 3, then we can play together They've made it so that you can connect to a Friend's pc now. Sims 2 was my favorite because you could put so many families into one town and own them all But Sims 3 is getting pretty good now that a lot of the expansions are out.

You can play together now? How does that work?

Not too sure... my friends are too lame for the Sims >.< But I'm not sure if it's you can play together, or you send the charrie over to allow someone else to play with... It's not something I know much about :/

We should try it out sometime, test it out... I wonder if it works long distances, or if based on a LAN connection...
