What's every ones favorite family tradition on Christmas day? Something that's special to your family.
Mine is the bacon sandwiches.
My brother, sister and I get up no later than six proceed to have a silent argument about who wakes the parents up first (at this point I should probably point out we are all in our 20's) outside of their bedroom door. We then open up one present each in their bedroom and than race downstairs, my sister makes a cup of tea for everyone while my brother and I organize the presents. When the parents finally drag themselves downstairs we rip them open as fast as possible to see what we've got (regardless of the fact we chose the majority ourselves) and than wait for the best food of the day.
Don't get me wrong the turkey is delicious but nothing beats the bacon my Dad wraps it in. It's the best bacon you will ever taste, it just warms you up on the cold Christmas morning and more than the presents and the decorations tells me it's finally Christmas day. I remember the taste of that bacon more than I do the turkey throughout the year.
So anyone else got one they'd like to share?

I don't know why my family do this, it's just something we always do. Every Christmas Day, me and my brother wake my mum and dad up and we wait on the landing for them to be ready. Then we all get in a line to go down the stairs??? from youngest to oldest. I can't remember when or why it started, but it always makes us laugh. My dad used to do something as well where he put glitter footprints all the way from the fire to the presents, and said it was Santa's magic dust

We always make plans to wake the parents (and the rest of the street, probably) up at five in the morning, singing Christmas carols really loudly. For some reason we never get around to it, but it's fun to plan it. When I was little I used to stay awake waiting for Santa - then I saw my dad putting presents under the tree. Childhood ruined, but it was fun hiding out in the living room in the dark. My mum is always the last to wake up, so we carry all the presents into my parents' bedroom as soon as they're both awake. We have this weird thing where you have to hand a present to someone else, you can't pick your own present. It's kind of weird but it's fun, I suppose.

I'm actually the last one up for Christmas usually. We all gather round and my sister and me give our parents their presents first. They are the first to open them. Then its our turn.
My parents slipped on the Santa by when my Mom whispered to my dad that he hadn't tightened to seat on my moped (I think that is what it was called) after the card said from Santa

Whatever family is home Christmas morning (now it's just my parents, younger brother, and myself, as everyone else as moved out) eat breakfast together around eight or so. Then we'll open presents. What I've always like is that we open them one at a time and everybody watches so there is so hectic Christmas morning. In the early afternoon, we go up to my uncle's house where he, my grandma, and usually my older siblings, have another Christmas. Again, gifts are opened one at a time.
I've never believed in Santa and was raised knowing that he didn't exist, though the legend is based of off the story of St. Nickolas.
