Warm Bodies Book and Movie

so... a few professors from our department gave a talk a couple of weeks ago. the topic was the undead in literature today. one of them discussed the book World War Z. another one discusses vampires and zombies in romance literature today, and this said professor showed the trailer of Warm Bodies. you know, that movie coming out on February where the 'R' the zombie eats a guys brains and falls in love with his girlfriend?

Okay, that summary seems to suck, but the trailer was really good. I disliked Twilight a lot, but this new zombie movie looked interesting and totally funny in the trailer.

So has anyone actually read that book? Is it any good? A couple of my friends are thinking of buying it, and I don't know whether I should encourage them or dissuade them.... XD
