How do you picture the weddings of some of your favorite characters. I'm not really sure, but I'm certain that Harry's and Ginny's was small and private. Thoughts?

I imagine that Ron & Hermione's would have had her parents and the rest magical. Harry and Ginny would have tried to have a small one but ended up in Hogwarts or somewhere that was required non-private for fans.

I think Harry would have made sure it was a small private wedding no matter what the wizarding public wanted, actually I can see Harry and Ginny eloping and then having a small ceremony at Hogwarts for family and close friends.

I can see George & Angelina eloping as per the wishes of Fred when they were talking to Harry or Barry at the start of the wedding.

I can see Harry wanting a small wedding but would Mrs. Weasley let him? He IS marrying her only daughter after all and I have a feeling she would want a big one not that it is really her say in there wedding but it almost seams what Molly Weasley wants Molly Weasley gets....I will have to agree with blackrose77 about Harry and Ginny eloping then haveing a wedding for family, friends and maybe vary limited press.

I kind of agree with Celtic, I think that Mrs. Weasley would want a big wedding, which is understandable. However, I think that with all the events that tooks place, either she would back down and do with arranging a small wedding at the Burrow, or Ginny would allow her to plan a moderately large wedding- still private- in order to distract her mother from the death of Fred.
Ron and Hermione I imagine having a very nice, fairly big wedding. Hermione's parents would attend. and the plethora of weasley's and hogwarts friends coming. Ginny, Luna and Fleur would be brides maids. Wonder who would be the maid of honor though...

Hmm good question. Maybe Ginny, although Herminone doesn't really have many female friends to begin with.

Probably Ginny, but I do see Luna doing it as well. But only if Ginny was very pregnant at the time and shouldn't be standing at the altar. In my headcanon, it's Luna for the simple reason that Hermione was Ginny's and Ginny was Luna's. Also, I see Ron and Hermione waiting for a while to get married instead of jumping the gun. I bet Ginny was pregnant with James by then.

Very true. For hermione, a muggle white dress or a wizard dress robe?

Yeah, I do think that. After all, Hermione isn't one to jump into things, as we all know! And it did take them ever so long to have Rose. Luna is my guess then . I personally think Hermione would wear a white dress, simply because she strikes me as the type to have a family heirloom dress to wear.

Me too! White dress for sure, but partially because I also feel she had a wedding with her extended family, despite not being close to them, and wanted the muggle traditions for her mother's sake. And I'm sure Arthur wanted it that way too.

Ooo. I never thought about that. But what about the Australia incident? Would they still have that kind of stuff?

I've also thought that she'd want to give her father the chance to walk her down the isle in a white dress- the way every dad dreams and dreads doing one day.

I think she would design something herself that would bring together both the traditional white dress and wizarding robes into one outfit.
