I would have, yes. I love Neville as a character, because he reminds me of me when i was younger the first few books. I love how he turned so badass in the last books, and I think it would be interesting to hear about his transformation and what caused that.

Neville was an underused and underestimated character during most of the series and only got to show his potential towards the end. His 'I'll join you when hell freezes over' was one of the best parts of the whole series. So, yes, I'd read it, as long as it is well-written.

I would read it, because Neville's just plain awesome and has the best character growth throughout the series (even better than Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and they're the main characters). Though I do wish he had a less unfortunate last name.
