A fan in their world

Does anyone know of some good fanfics where a HP fan or doctor who fan meets them? Or where, in the case of HP, a fan goes to hogwarts? However please no story's where Harry, Ron, or hermione are in love with the OCs. I just don't like those.

THe only acceptable one of that sort I did read was sadly deleted
There were one or two I tried, but they were too Mary Sueish and I gave up on them pretty fast. So I fear I can't help there.
