I know the covers are different, but what else is? Also why is it when people do RTB's it's the American one? I don't think I've ever seen a RTB using the Brit version.

Grammar and some spellings are different, which really annoys me. That's why I try to make sure I have easy access to my copy of the books, so I know what the British version says.
As for why people don't use the Brit version when writing RtBs, I really don't know. It is strange though, that not even Brits use it.

If anyone has the Brit-version ebooks, I'd sure appreciate them! The problem is most people aren't going to type up the books from their physical copies so we tend to use whatever's available online, which is overwhelmingly the American editions.

That's what I did, because I agree, it takes to long to type up the books from my physical copies, however, as I said, I always try and keep my physical copy of the book to hand, so that I can alter the text, from American to British English.

It looks like one American typed the books up and then everyone was copying from that. Hm, now I wonder - are RtBs with the British title British or American English? It's possible to get the British version, after all. Here you can find a list of changes between editions and between British and American edition (see links to the respective books at the botton).
