So, with the move from Proboards v4 to v5, a lot of stuff changed. A lot of stuff got taken out and a lot got added too. They also have a bunch of plugins which do various things. I spent a while going through their library of plugins and installed several which I thought were cool. These are listed below

Installed and working plugins and what they do:
- New PM Alert - brings back the popup text box that displayed on receipt of a PM
- Hide Recent Edits - hides the "Last edited" mark if the post is edited within 5 minutes of posting
- ProBoards Highlight Search Terms - Like it says on the tin.
- ProBoards Pagination Control - if you notice the page numbers and several other options follow you as you scroll down, this is why
- Back to Top - adds a back to top button
- Spoiler Tags - adds spoiler tags, [spoiler*][/spoiler*] without the * marks which I used to break the code. See example below (it doesn't play well with lists, apparently)
- Simple Image Upload - this is supposed to be much easier to use to insert pictures than the attachement manager, but I haven't tried it too much yet.
- Images in Thread Titles - allows the possibility of adding images to thread titles, but only if put the image into the plugin first. I'm accepting requests. Currently the only code that is there is [pizza]
- Color Palette - adds a color pallete which you can use to adjust your text color in your posts and PMs
- Karma System - just like from the version 4 forum
- Sticky Thread Divider - divides the announcements and stickys from the regular posts and each other
- Spell Checker - like it says on the tin
- Notifications in Browser Tab - adds the number of notifications to the browser tab title, kinda like on facebook
- Thread Descriptions - adds the text box below the subject line for thread descriptions
- username in post - allows you to use the code [#username*] without the * - it will be replaced with the reader's display name. EX, [#username]
- Multiple Post Automerge - merges any consecutive posts by the same person to prevent double-posts and such

- Member gallery - will create a picture gallery for members
- Smilie dropdown - adds more smilies in a dropdown menu
- ProBoards Bump Stop Notification - to help prevent forum-necromancy and resurrection of old posts
- Custom profile fields - like it says on the tin
Really like some of the new plugins - never saw something like #6 before, but that might come in handy. As well as a few others, like #1, 5, 11, 12 ... Will have to try out some of the other options
