I've been a member of this organization for a while now and I've just received a questionnaire to complete from the University of Liverpool who are doing a research project titled "Do other people know what it is like having epilepsy?" A friend or relative completes the other questionnaire and in 12 months we repeat the process again. Our GP will find out about the test with our consent, the information will be put into scientific journals and they won't identify us.
It's now made me wonder about that question so I figured I'd ask,
Do YOU know what it's like?
(Don't worry, I'm not singling you out, I'm asking a fair few people)

In my opinion, no one can know what it is like unless they actually have epilepsy, like my brother. People can only assume.
