What do you think in your opinion are good book to film adaptions for me it would be The Hunger Games and I'm hoping Catching Fire doesn't disappoint.

LOL, I am not a movie fan by any means, but if you ask me that, then you will always get one, or now two, examples: Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Even if I don't agree with everything they did, overall they were still rather true to the books - much more than I had feared. And ten times more than what others planned before them.
Beyond that, I don't know any book made into a film I really liked. Some were plain unrecognisable.

I did love the hunger games adaption, and I'm really excited for catching fire. I know it isn't a film, but personally I think the best adaption I've seen is the game of thrones series... It's not based on the book, it seems like it IS the book. Whole passages of dialogue are copied straight into the show, and it really feels right.
