I've never really done RPing before. A few weeks ago a friend asked me to try through PMs. It was fun if a little stilted since it was just the two of us especially since he suddenly stopped. Anyways I was wondering if anyone would be interested in trying this RP. I don't know if what I say is even how RP is even supposed to be done but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.
It's sort of a big fanfic RP.
History and such:
Dumbledore is really Gellert. Gellert won their fight but Dumbledore was able to curse him to be unable to outright attack others, which is why he can't defeat Tom. So he decided to try a more passive way to rule the Wizarding world. No one knows that Gellert is acting as Dumbledore though that of course could be found out later.
Gellert has systematically weakened the Magical World by lessening education to make weaker competitors. He has also controlled education is a similar way with how victors control how history is told. Though he is unable to take books away from the library because of some enchantment Rowena put up; he has been able to put compulsions up that repel any who don't have an avid interest knowledge though if anyone come to look up something for an essay the charm lowers in regards to that subject.
Lily's lingering protection has made Harry to immune to anything that would cause him harm passively though it protects him from all aggression in the way of Voldemort. (Until fourth year at least) Anyone Harry spends extended time with also gets a small bit of protection or at least enough that the compulsions Gellert setup are wearing off. Eventually Harry will become a political figure as well as a war figure.
Guidelines:
While everyone who enters will have their oc or ocs; some will have real Hp characters to control. That includes: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Weasleys, Order members, Ministry members, Death Eaters, Dumbledore/Gellert, Voldemort, teachers, ect. (You get the picture)
One person can only have one main HP character though that can change if not enough people want to do this.
Non main but real HP Characters are: Mr. Diggory(Not Cedric), Griphook, Mr. Ollivander, ect.
People can have more than one Non main HP Character to control though multiple can not control the same character.
Your oc can not get together with the main character you control. Example: If you want your oc Billy to end up with Luna you have to just have the person who controls Luna to agree with it as well.
You can of course have as many oc as you want.

All teacher Classrooms will have their own category (I think it would be cool if every once in a while there was lessons in magic though this of course not the only use of this. It is also how to mainly interact with the controlled professors.)

Ministry (Some offices might have own category like Auror precinct)
Wizengamet (In Ministry but will definitely have own category)
