I really don't see Harry as an angry person but it seems that everyone does. I mean I have constantly read fics where everyone comments that he has a quick temper but I don't see it. I mean the only time Harry seems to be angry is in the fifth book and quite frankly he was acting down right subdued compared to others in my opinion.
First Book
Harry acts a little mad when people pick on him but that's natural and doesn't speak of a quick temper at all. Then he was a little snappy when they were talking about Voldemort wanting the stone, but he has someone that wants him dead and will kill a lot of people about to return.
Second Book
He had more right than anyone to be angry but I never see him blow up at anyone. I mean he has people believing that he is attacking people and the teachers aren't doing anything to stop it. Not to mention the attacks themselves could make anyone have a short fuse.
Third Book
He got angry over Malfoys actions a bit and other general things but he never seemed to blow up. I mean he had a small tiff with Hermione over the broom but he didn't have any ind of shouting match.
Fourth Book
He had everyright to be pissy with people but he never really seemed to. I mean he knows that he may not be alive the next day, people are being jerks, and Ron pretty much stabbed him in the back. Even with all that stress he never really lost his temper unless you count the few heated words with Ron. As far as I'm concerned it was Ron that lost it and Harry was being down right friendly when compared with Ron's behavior.
Fifth Book
Here is where he gets angry.
-First is being stuck at the Dursleys. He has just saw someone die and a man after his head is out there. Not only that he is being isolated from information and from people who give a damn about him. He had every right to be in a bad mood.
-He shouts and his friends. His friends have been together and know that they are alright. He had to be in a constant state of wonder if his next letter would go unanswered because his friends were dead. Next they had access to atleast some general information and he had none. They were the friends of Harry Potter and they might very well be targeted. Harry was on top of the hit list and had fought him more than anyone but probably Dumbledore so he without a doubt had right to information so he was definitely justified to be angry. Not to mention that his friends essentially chose access to a little information over their friendship.
- From what I've read that was the first time he had ever yelled at them but I've read them yelling at him or eachother multiple times in the series. They acted like he was such a bad person for it to, but yet it's almost like they believe they have a more of a right to act angry at times than him.
-He was a little snappy throughout the year but all things concerned he acted very patient with all that he put up with
-He lashed out a Dumbledore at the end of the year. His godfather just died and all for information he should have been informed of as soon as Voldemort returned. He has been told that its his job to handle Voldemort and that he either has to do it or die and cause everyone else's death. Not to mention the stress of the year has been getting to him. I hated how snotty the portraits acted to his loss of temper though atleast Dumbledore treated him fairly for it.
Sixth Book
I never really saw him lose his temper. Hermione was treating him like shit but constantly seemed to act like he was supposed to make sure she was alright. Ron was a little side tracked. He is not really being trained and he has essentially been told that Draco is worth more than everyone else. Draco nearly killed Katie Bell but it didn't matter compared to the fact that Draco deserved a second chance. Where was Katie's first chance? Not to mention the constant expectation that he was the Chosen One everyone had. I don't think he ever lost his temper and he had a lot to deal with.
I won't go into the Seventh Book.
Hermione and Ron. These two fight like cats and dogs and yet as soon as Ron turns his back on Harry Hermione act like it is his fault. I mean they act like they can act as angry as they want but as soon as Harry does he is being downright unfair. It blows my mind.
