What kind of child protection laws do you think the wizarding world has? How many do you think Dumbledore broke when placing Harry at the Dursely's?

IF there were any, then he probably broke all of them! Kidnapping from his rightful guardian, abandoning him on a doorstep, dumping him off on magic-hating relatives, after basically making himself his guardian (sure, the books don't say that, but if it was different, how could Dumbledore decide on every aspect of Harry's life?) … and you have to wonder about the papers necessary to make the Dursleys true guardians, about any payment for them having to raise Harry, about these questionable blood wards … and I won't even go into locking the real guardian away at that hellhole without trial.
