Fandom correlation

I was reading a section of the text book for my anthro class when I saw the word Trickster. All I could think of was Loki, who was not mentioned in the text. Has anyone esle had the experience where you read/ hear something that isn't actually fandom related, but all you think is something fandom related?
Sorry I've been gone so long. School takes up a lot of my time.

I did once spend the majority of a lecture on early medieval England thinking about the Founders. General early medieval culture stuff tends to bring up Narnia and LOTR feels.
