None of this chapter makes sense at all!

How the heck can Harry & Cedric suddenly become brothers just because Cedric's parents hugged Harry? It seriously doesn't make sense at all.

That is weird especially since Mrs. Weasly has hugged Harry before without that happening. I do not have a logical explanation for that.
