So I've just realized something. if Draco and by extension his parents hated Muggles then what on earth was he wearing a muggle black suit in the HP films? It's only just hit me that the suit isn't a magical creation at all but a pure muggle suit.

Simple enough.
Because the robes they designed for the films aren't the way they are in the books. In the books the robes are closer to monks robes or dresses than they are to the academic robes which the film robes are modelled off.
So they have to have clothes (school uniforms etc) underneath, and wearing a robe over a suit just looks silly. Plus, they probably wanted Draco to be easily identifiable in terms of silhouette compared to the rest of the Death Eaters who are wearing robes.
TBH though you could say the same for most of the wizarding word in the movies. Basically none of them wear robes, they all wear muggle clothes regardless of whether they should or not.

Well, I haven't really seen the movies, so I can't say much about it, but I noticed that in photos from the movies I saw the trio were mostly wearing normal 'Muggle' clothing that had nothing to do with robes, too. So I guess Draco isn't the only one. Though if he were, it would admittedly be fun to tell him
