Hey, so has anyone seen it yet?
I won't give away the plot for those that haven't yet seen it but for those that have what are your thoughts on it?
I've noticed that a lot of Fan Fiction seems to be cropping up over it.

It's not as bad as I expected. I am however, roilingly pissed at the movie's treatment of Credence.
Oh and Harlem being that blindingly white. Someone said to me the other day that the movie was 'really dark'. My response was 'it can't be that dark with that many white people in it'.

The bit I don't get is Graves. Was it Gellert all along or was Graves replaced at some point like they did May-Eye?

As far as I can guess, Graves was an actual person who Grindelwald replaced at some point before the movie and was absolutely Grindelwald all through the movie (also, so much for not giving away the plot ) since it takes place over about two days. Evidently in an attempt to get the Obscurial or at least exacerbate magical/non-magical tensions.
Also, I think I may be the only person who didn't immediately take to Queenie Goldstein. Reading people's minds without their consent, replying to and thus exposing thoughts that they wouldn't have spoken or acted on to everybody else inspires in me a gut deep terror and immediate desire to run away.
The first scene we see her in, she's almost constantly reading Jacob's mind. And he's not in a positon where he can do anything about it. He's in a flat with three magical people who've just proven they can do whatever the fuck they want to him and now some lady is reading his mind.

Whoops, think I read your reply and thought you yourself had done the same thing Regarding Queenie- I thought she was a fake myself. Actually reminded me of a Character that Eddie Redmayne had previously played. Also when Tina got ranted at for not coming forward about Newt I felt like screaming- She effing tried to!!
