Heya everyone,
Has anyone noticed that within the past hour Fanfiction.Net seems to suddenly be filled with a lot more adverts? Seems to be barely a paragraph before we have an advert and it's rather annoying.

Hm, no, never noticed anything. Might be a question of adblocker?
What annoys me much more is that even after at least 16 months, my profile *still* shows only the first 500 favourite stories, all others are only available via profile. Where I don't have the summaries, and only can see my own, none of someone else, despite using these lists to find something to read *growls*
How are you, btw? It's been a while.

Hoped this works, been a while since I've posted an image on here. I've sort of ok I guess. No Covid-19 thankfully but other health issues. How are you?

Looks like a full page ad? That has to be annoying. Hmmm. Do you have another browser to test if it's the same there? This seems to be Google Chrome - I am using Firefox at work and Safari at home and don't have any ads showing up, at least not for FFN. Might be worth a try. Though it's a bit strange if that starts that suddenly. Could it be a failed adblock or something? Sorry, not a real expert with that sort of stuff, and even less with Windows.
No virus, either, thankfully. Was at home for a few weeks, now trying to catch up with the chaos, while we deal with keeping our distance and all that. I hope you get better soon! And stay faaar away from Covid-19!

Hmm, tried it with Microsoft Edge but it's still the same by the looks of it.
What is more awkward is trying to teach through video messages.

Hm, then I don't know what could help. Have now sometimes a narrow ad somewhere within the chapter, but can just scroll over it, btw.
Ah yes, I can imagine what challenges that is now throwing at everyone who has to do that. I hope things work out for you!

Hi, so they are still there, I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of them with no luck.

Then I haven't any idea what to do any more. I'm not that much of an expert. Don't you sometimes wonder if website owners consider that annoyed customers staying away might cause more harm than the bit of extra profit they get from the ads? To me, excessive advertising is a reason to stay away, after all.

Hey, I worked out the issue. It is Google Ads itself. I have done everything I possibly can to get rid of it with no luck.
Hope you are well.
