I already put the same poll on my FF.Net profile, but I'm wondering who you want in the next book. I'm still thinking of how to add the characters without disturbing the flow of the story so if you could give me some tips, I would be very happy and grateful to everyone!

I honestly think for the second book you should have Ginny, if for nothing else to get some closure on her involvement of that year. Yes, I would admit that I would want her there anyway, but I think for book 2, she (and perhaps the twins) would be the best to bring in. Hagrid would be one of the worst, with his expulsion mentioned and how long ago that was for him. I think, in order of who would be best to bring in (accounting for my bias with Ginny) would be: Ginny The Twins Bill Flitwick Weasley Parents Draco Charlie Hagrid Also, Hagrid's accent would probably get hard to keep up. This would also help develop characters. Of course, you can also just plain not add anyone!
For adding them, it all depends on who notices things first. And at that school? I would say Ginny and the twins would before anyone else. Charlie would be out in Romania at this time, so it would be really hard to add him, period. At least not without mucking around with canon there, more so than usual, anyway. Bill and the parents would probably come at the same time, due to them both hanging around the same place... Draco is too much of an antagonist at this point in time of your reading to be welcomed by the other students there and you would want a teacher to help keep the rest of the school running still, and Flitwick is one of the better teachers to do so, even if Umbridge is trying to run things herself.
Hope this helps!

I have a Ginny prejudice but it depends on how close to the cannon storyline you stay for relationships. I do understand her needing closure for her experience.
I think I would reverse the order a bit. Charlie, Bill, Flitwick, Twins, Draco, Ginny, Weasley parents, and Hagrid. My thoughts are what interpersonal interaction you have going on during the last two books, when they find out how Dumbledore set him up to sacrifice himself just to bring Voldie down and how he kept asking so much of Snape. I love everything you have written so far and can't wait for the next installment.
What about having Harry and Snape set a time to travel to the Chamber and render the Basilisk down to potion ingredients after they finish reading book two for when they finally leave the RoR? This could increase the positive interaction between Snape, Sirius, Remus, and Harry.

Fred and George because they are funny, but I agree that Ginny should have closure. Most of the rest have no strong reason to be added though I would not mind if you did. Though I guess adding the entire Weasley family might be added so that they may understand what Harry and Ron as well as Ginny went through - It would probably be hard to keep track of all the characters though.
I like the idea of Harry and Snape going together to harvest the Basilisk for potion ingredients though

Yeah, I was planning on that when I write a BREAK chapter. I think everyone in the Room of Requirement would want to go with them though. If only to see the Basilisk's corpse.
One of the reasons I don't want Ginny to be in this book is because I think it's still too early for her to confront what happened to her only a year ago. If I had set the reading in 5th year, there wouldn't be a problem, but I will still add her if that's what the poll will show. On FFN Fred&George won and Draco was second.
Thanks for the votes!
