New Stories

[Choices HP]

So I've had a few new RtB stories bouncing around in my head for a while but I never got around to actually posting them.
The first one will be called:

A Different Path: Reading Goblet of Fire

This story will have Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred, George, Percy, Bill, Molly, Artur (there will be no Charlie), Remus, Sirius, Tonks, The Grangers (who I have named Duncan and Juliet), Neville, Teddy and Draco reading. It's set right after PoA.

This story is actually one that I started while I was writing Changing the Future: Reading Deathly Hallows, so it had been on my mind for over a year, maybe even two by now. My computer broke about a year ago and I lost the first few chapter that I had completed but the idea wouldn't get out of my head until I wrote it down again. Originally I was going to have Dumbledore, McGonagal and Snape there, but seeing as I had just done that with Changing the Future, I decided to take them out and put in Teddy, Neville and Draco. I was just going to have a note again, but I decided that I would bring in the future Teddy. I also thought about putting the Grangers in CtF:RDH, but wanted this story to be different for when I actually wrote it, so I left them out.


The second story will be called:

Harry Potter, A History: The Philosopher's Stone

This is about Harry, Ron, Hermione and Remus reading the books with the Founders.

I was inspired while reading Isilarma story about the Founders reading with Harry, Ron and Hermione and started the introduction about a month ago.

I'm going to post a preview chapter on this board that will have the first chapter on each of these stories (They're both introductions, no actually reading). Please read them and let me know what you think about it so I'll know if I should write more on these stories.

As always, if someone would like to beta either story, send me a PM, because I know that I don't always have the best spelling and grammar, but I think my ideas are good and I need the extra help. I will also have to say that I probably only be posting new chapter every other week or maybe longer because it takes a while to write each chapter.

I like the first more than the second, but this is probably due to bias (Ginny is my favorite character in the HP series). Really well written prologues though. If you want, I'll help beta/edit one of your stories - though it would be my first time doing so for someone over the net.

As far as I know, she's switched to mailing lists. Or at least that was the last I heard.
