It's not as scary as it sounds...but it's not reading the books either.
You know those Redo!stories where Harry somehow ends up in his younger body? Well, what about a Redo! with Ron?
Ron gets killed on an Auror mission but somehow ends up in his one-year-old body. How does he react to seeing Fred alive and whole? Percy, with what is to come?
More importantly, can Ron fix what needs to be fixed or will he let his friends in the loop?

Yes, as Ron was born March 1980 and Harry was born July 31 1980. A one-year-old Ron would be in 1981 pre-BWL.

So as a one-year-old, would Ron have the comprehension of a twenty-something-year-old? That would certainly make things interesting.

Plus he wouldn't have insecurity issues, which would probably change his personality for the better.

Yep, that's also true. And maybe he could get a better understanding of what Harry really does go through and support him better?
Not to mention that he'd know all about Peter ahead of time and act accordingly! Harry could be taken from the Dursleys much sooner... *evil grin*

More importantly, can Ron fix what needs to be fixed or will he let his friends in the loop? I've seen some like this, except he gets taken back to when he is 13 or 14. Same with Hermione. I think this is an awesome idea with the one year old part. |
