I might do that. The only successful one I've read was Lightning On The Wave's Sacrifices series. It's a great series of stories, though Snape is a flawed good guy, Harry and Draco are a couple. Lily is abusive, (in a different sense, not the way you'd think), and James is neglectful, (not in a truly bad way, but he does let Lily's behavior go unchecked).

To me Ron and Hermione would have a very active and very good sex life that will play a large part in their relationship at the end of Deathly Hallows and i think ignoring that aspect of their relationship would be like ignoring 35% of why they work so well as a couple.
