I thought i would create this thread so people can ask for certain types of fan fiction (any sort of Harry Potter fan fiction) and hopefully others will be able to recommend some stories for them since there are over 500,000 stories on FFnet alone it is sometimes very hard to find exactly the type of story you are looking for.
I will get the ball rolling by asking for anyone to provide a list of stories which are ideally quite long and feel like something that JKR herself could read and approve of. Romance certainly doesn't need to be a A plot but ideally i would like it to be Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny. Also i should mention that i have pretty much read every story on FFnet marked "Ron/Hermione" so please don't bother listing stories that are marked Ron/Hermione. So basically i want a story with no character bashing and the characters feel in character. The rating to me does not matter.

There are two that I can think of off the top of my head, A Second Chance and Harry Potter: Wizards at War, both by redneckS. I don't know whether he's written any others since, but those two are quite good.

Also i hope other people feel free to make requests as ideally this will become the thread for people helping other people find stories they may be interested in reading.

I'm not sure what you mean by the JKR thing... cause I got a lot of fics I could recommend you... but... I mostly read stuff that are a T rating or higher. Complete or incomplete. Let me know, and I'll give you a bunch... for example... Rbackward's Phantom Limb. I have yet to see ANY other author write like he does... and I do wonder if there is any other... Too many lines in there that are just to die for as well. And the best thing? I'm trying to find a story that is after the battle. Fred is dead and Hermione is pregnant with twins ( they are Fred's and she doesn't find out that they are twins until later in the story). Ron gets mad when he finds out and hits her. She runs off to Romania and Charlie helps her out. They fall in love and get married, she has the twins and goes back to England with Charlie to reconcile with everyone. It is completed.
I can't remember the name or the author.

ugh no. I've been trying to search for it as well with the words "Pregnant", "Fred", "Charlie", "Ron", "Abuse", and every other word that might be associated with what I said above, but nothing. I'm thinking they might have deleted it. I thought I put it in my favorites, but i have over 300 and it is really hard to go through each and every one of them, so I usually search for stories unless I remember the name or author or it is regularly updated, then I use my favorites.

Those are the words I've been using, with as many combinations as I could think of *sigh* do you think maybe it's been deleted?
Also my search is of one I have never actually read, but heard of. Apparently, is a five year old (or young) harry being sent back in time to Tom Riddle, who becomes fiercely protective of him. I know nothing other then that.

Can anyone help me find a fic please?
These are the main points of the story:-
harry does some muggle training before going to grimmauld,
he's the lord of a few families,
the portrait of sirius' mother is actually nice to him and he orders kreature to clean etc,
sirius' has a blocked off bedroom and training area ready for him,
the others are manipulative in a way,
harry tell's Molly off just like he does in this fic,
he does his own food and decides to cook breakfast for them aswell,
ron/ginny/hermione don't like that they can't get access to harry-his idea..
I'm sure it has something to do with his way/their way etc but i've searched for those specific words..

yeah, same here. Maybe we could start a scavenger hunt thread. like we give out certain clues of a story (three or four) and see if anyone can find stories that go with those clues.

oh, and that story was in my favorites.
The other story to look for is a Ron/Hermione story. Hermione is in st. Mungos. She is trapped inside her mind and doesn't talk. She draws things and writes some weird stuff and Ron finally figures that she is sawing sword and that it is the sword of gryffindor. We find out through out the story that Malfoy raped her and somehow got her trap in her mind and torments her constantly.
I don't know the author or name of story on this one
