At least I don't talk English, lol. But between fanfiction and chatting, I type way too much English. And lately I tend to call my pony Miss Picky or Miss Piggy (depending  ) Lol, that conversation must have been funny. Can't blame the people for staring  It's hard to keep that up without getting confused. It reminds me of the time when my (German) friend brought an American friend along whose German was at about the level my English was back then ... my friend had to translate back and forth and ended up talking English to me and German to the American. Didn't exactly help the understanding I had a friend do that as well. She is Swiss and there was a Swiss girl here who couldn't speak English. My friend had come to Lunch and sat down between the Swiss girl and another girl who is from America and started to talk to the both of them. At one point they both asked her questions at the same time and she was eating, when she could talk she spoke to the Swiss girl in english and the American girl in Swiss-German. She didn't know what she did until they both asked her "What?". After that they all burst out laughing. |

To me, it seems like Dumbledore's expectations are way too high. While he might have back up plans for some things, he usually figures that his ideas will always work out perfectly. And when they don't there are tragic mistakes as a result.

He gives? Um ... that must have been other books than I did read. Actually, he took a lot, too - others had to do his dirty work way too often, and what he 'gave' were impossible tasks at times which led others into deathly danger and even death. And he doesn't give out knowledge even when it is desperately needed.
