I thought this would be a interesting thread
Harry
I imagine Harry is around 5'8 (173cm) due to the length of his wand and what Pottermore says about the relation between the length of a persons wand and their height. I imagine Harry would be still rather on the slender side but not unhealthily thin. In terms of looks i imagine Harry is average so he is the type of guy that no one would consider ugly but no one would consider to be a sexy hunk. To me he looks a bit like Dan only a few inches taller, a bit thinner and not such a square head.
Ron
I imagine Ron is around 6'2 (188cm) again due to wand length. Ron would also be on the slender side but after a few years of Quittich and Auror training his gangly figure would become a little bit more filled out so he would end up being a bit less of a bean pole and would have some more natural muscle. In terms of looks i imagine Ron would be the type of guy that girls either love his looks or dislike them. It would be quite rare to find Ron's looks to be neutral neither liking it or disliking it. For people like Hermione and Lavender they fall in the really like it category. Ron would really grow into his looks as he gets older (as he is said to look a bit like Bill and judging from Fleur's reaction to Bill in GoF i would say Bill is good looking). Basically he looks like Rupert only quite a bit taller and a less stocky than Rupert.
Hermione
I imagine Hermione would be 5'6 (168cm) maybe a tiny bit taller but not 5'7 and naturally she would not be underweight but i imagine her being very small boned and as a result she would be very slender. I imagine Hermione would be a bit insecure about her body and its lack of 'curves' but its is in reality not something she needs to worry about. I also imagine like Ron Hermione would grow into her looks and would start out a bit ugly but would grow up to be rather attractive (certainly Krum, McLaggen and Ron thought so). I also think Hermione would have much more bushy hair than she did in the movies. Basically looks like Emma only with much more bushy hair.
Ginny
It is stated in OotP that she is very short so i imagine her being 5'3 (160cm) but because she has a Prewitt build she would have a lot of "curves". She would not be at all overweight but i imagine she would develop characteristics that a teenage boy might notice (and one of the reasosn Harry probably started taking notice of her). Ginny is also very attractive and and never had a problem getting dates or boyfriends.
Draco
I only include him as it is said in the Malfoy Manor chapter that he is several inches taller than Harry so that makes him around 5'10 (178cm). Also despite fan fiction i don't think there is any evidence of Draco being anything more than average looking as he only ever gets interest from Pansy when it comes to girls. I also imagine Draco would be a bit thin as well but like Harry not sickly thin (as both have good builds to be seekers).
Also thought i would include the length of wands for the trio
Ron - 14 inches
Harry - 11 inches
Hermione - 10.75 inches
and i personally imagine that other than personality characteristics that can alter the length of a wand a bit the size of a wand compared to height is around
9, 10, 11 inches - The person is short (5'0 to 5'6)
12, 13 inches - The person is average (5'7 to 5'11)
14+ inches - The person is tall (6'0 to 6'6)
Here is what Pottermore says
Length of wands
Many wandmakers simply match the wand length to the size of the witch or wizard who will use it, but this is a crude measure, and fails to take into account many other, important considerations. In my experience, longer wands might suit taller wizards, but they tend to be drawn to bigger personalities, and those of a more spacious and dramatic style of magic. Neater wands favour more elegant and refined spell-casting. However, no single aspect of wand composition should be considered in isolation of all the others, and the type of wood, the core and the flexibility may either counterbalance or enhance the attributes of the wand’s length.
Most wands will be in the range of between nine and fourteen inches. While I have sold extremely short wands (eight inches and under) and very long wands (over fifteen inches), these are exceptionally rare. In the latter case, a physical peculiarity demanded the excessive wand length. However, abnormally short wands usually select those in whose character something is lacking, rather than because they are physically undersized (many small witches and wizards are chosen by longer wands).
Wand flexibility or rigidity denotes the degree of adaptability and willingness to change possessed by the wand-and-owner pair - although, again, this factor ought not to be considered separately from the wand wood, core and length, nor of the owner’s life experience and style of magic, all of which will combine to make the wand in question unique.
So what do you all think?
