Well the title tells all ;D
What do you think of the food mentioned in the series? Would you eat/drink any of the stuff mentioned? Have you ate/drank what was mentioned in the series? If you could eat/drink something from there what would it be? Do you have a favorite food or drink item from the series that can be gotten in real world?
Hmm that be enough questions me thinks, feel free to add others these are just off the top my head which was spawned from reading the recent posts in the English vs English UK thread.
What do you think of the food mentioned in the series? A lot of the food sounds mouth watering really, though there are some that put me off just by the title like Mint Humbugs, but I imagine they are just after dinner mints right?
Would you eat/drink any of the stuff mentioned? Yes I would if I could.
Have you ate/drank what was mentioned in the series? Yes I have, I have had a version of Butterbeer, and plan on trying it again in the future. Beyond that no I have not.
If you could eat/drink something from there what would it be? Butterbeer again, Firewhiskey for sure, maybe Pumpkin Juice. And Treacle Tart sounds good to.
Do you have a favorite food or drink item from the series that can be gotten in real world? Well it is not exact but Butterbeer is pretty good, just gotta find the right recipe. Beyond that not right off hand unless you could some the things they have come out with in the stores or Disney World...

As I'm not a really adventerous person when it comes to food... also, I'm limited on what my stomach would let me have... I'm pretty sure I won't be having most of the stuff mentioned. Much less regular English food faire. Call me a gluttonous American, but I'll stick with my Americanized foods... Even if is processed or whatever.
Though I'm sure I'd try the pumpkin juice.

I'm curious. I will have to look at this recipe to determine if I can even have it at all though. Stupid stomach. ><

What do you think of the food mentioned in the series? Most of it sounds great and it's all quite well thought out, though most of the wizarding foods seem to be joke sweets.
Would you eat/drink any of the stuff mentioned? Yep! I'd drink the Butterbeer but not the Pumpkin Juice. I'd try Firewhiskey and Gillywater. Cauldron Cakes and all the sweets except for Liquorice wands and Cockraoch Clusters. I wouldn't eat the Pumpkin Pasties.
Have you ate/drank what was mentioned in the series? I've had Butterbeer and it's amazing. I've also had Bertie Botts (even the bad flavours), Chocolate Frogs (took me 3 rounds to eat the one), Edible Dark Mark (tastes disgusting, just E numbers and dyes, blegh), Peppermint Toads (yum), Honekydukes Chocolate bar (also yum) and I don't think I've tried anything else. Will do next time I go on the tour though (August).
If you could eat/drink something from there what would it be? Firewhiskey definitely. Sounds great for having at parties. And a Blood Pop.
Do you have a favorite food or drink item from the series that can be gotten in real world? Probably Butterbeer.

I'm curious. I will have to look at this recipe to determine if I can even have it at all though. Stupid stomach. >< The following is my Pumpkin Juice recipe. Enjoy! 2-4cups of pumpkin, chopped up into chunks, (depends on how much of it you want. I suggest 2 cups for your first time making it). 1 cup of orange juice per two cups of chopped pumpkin.
1 cup of mango fruit juice per two cups of chopped pumpkin. Can also be replaced with pineapple or pear juice. I like it with mango best, but it's up to you.
1/2 teaspoons of brown sugar per two cups of chopped pumpkin. You may add more or less if you want. 1/3 Cinnamon and ginger each per two cups of chopped pumpkin. If you're allergic to either one, try nutmeg instead.
For a bonus, add whipped cream and a drizzle of butterscotch syrup.
Directions:
1: Juice the pumpkin with a juicer. If you don't have a juicer, you may use cheese cloth. It's better with a juicer, though.
2: Pour the pumpkin juice and orange juice and mango, (or pear, or pineapple) juice into a blender.
3: Add the brown sugar to the juices and blend thoroughly.
4: Add your spices.
5: Chill your pumpkin juice. I suggest a 20-30 minute waiting time.
6: Add your whipped cream and butterscotch drizzle before serving.

I'd like to point out that you will need to experiment with the brown sugar and spices in order to get it just the way you want it.

I would love to go to Harry Potter world and try everything! Except cockroch clusters *shudders* What I would love to try the most though is butterbeer and pumpkin juice for drinks. For food, treacle tart, pumpkin pasties and cauldron cakes

Silvertongue: I forgot about a few of those and makes me want to look them up see if anyone made a recipe. Like Cauldron Cakes and Pumpkin Pasties. kumainpink: That is a good bit different then some the ones I have read. blackroses77: I think Cockroach Clusters are pecans actually, they have the color and texture to be similar enough to them. Here is the one posted on Mugglenet. Rosmerta's Recipes - Pumpkin Juice Pumpkin Juice, a favorite for feasts at Hogwarts that you can now take home with you!
Ingredients:
2 cups of pumpkin, chopped up into chunks 2 cups of apple juice 1/2 cup of pineapple juice 1 teaspoon of honey (more or less to your liking Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg and/or Allspice (all ground, to taste)
Directions:
Step 1: Juice the pumpkin pieces by squeezing through a cheesecloth or using a juicer if you have one.
Step 2: Pour the pumpkin juice, apple juice and pineapple juice into a blender.
Step 3: Add the honey (we recommend you start with 1 teaspoon, as you can add some later!) to the juices and blend thoroughly.
Step 4: Add your spices (to taste). This might take some experimentation to get right.
Step 5: Chill your pumpkin juice or serve iced and enjoy! Found recipe to make a Non-Alcoholic Firewhiskey but can add the Alcohol to make it adult version... I so am going to try this.

I want to try Treacle Tart, but there seems to be a number of recipes out there. In truth I thought Treacle was a UK fruit lol but I do not think it is looking at one the recipes.

i'm not so sure i would be able to eat anything apart from some of the sweets. Britain used to sell them a while back but then they stopped for some reason.

No, we take the sweet buttery taste of butterbeer and make it popcorn! I'm thinking it might be like caramel corn, but with the essence of butterbeer flavor instead.

Butterbeer kind of makes me think of root beer, so that on popcorn doesn't sound so good. *thinks of those rootbeer hard candies melted over popcorn*

Actually I have seen a Root Beer popcorn it was from one those specialty popcorn places. But do not remember if it was coated or dusted on.

Now Butterscotch popcorn might actually be pretty good, it would be similar to caramel.
