*drools* O.O I love this. So much more than anything I've loved before... (popcorn is my favorite food, as you can now tell)

I wonder why they do not have Popcorn in the wizarding world.... Never saw it being eaten in the movies or read about it in the books.

Dunno. Maybe it was deemed "too muggle?"
Well, I know what I'm going to do now...
BUTTERBEER POPCORN! FUCK YEAH! >=]

I dunno, it has been around a VERY long time.. And given how odd Magicals can be with their food I would think they would jump at the chance to make up the popcorn that acted like Bertie Botts...

That would have been awesome Maybe they have something like "So-and-So's every flavor Popcorn" in America?

That is a good idea. Could you imagine eating a Every Flavor Popcorn Ball?

Oh my gosh...that would be wonderful!
What if someone gathered a lot of Every Flavor Beans, melted them down, and coated popcorn balls with them in parts?

*evil grin* It just so happens that I love to cook, and I'm probably going to be trying new and awesome things! I'm thinking of making a cookbook thread and posting random HP inspired creations that I and other people come up with. I have some good ideas so far:
Every Flavor Popcorn
Every Flavor Popcorn balls
Butterbeer Popcorn and Popcorn balls
Pumpkin Juice, (already done)
Troll Bogies (green gummies melted into a blobless snot-like consistency)

What about Treacle Pasties?
I used to like cooking/baking but now days it is more necessity then joy...

*grins* Yes that one does sound good doesn't it?
I noticed there was not a whole lot of soups or stews mentioned, do they not do that or were they just not mentioned?
Ooooh Magical Cotton Candy, though think it is called Threaded Candy across the pond. We need a spell to make it, could you imagine the various flavors could make?

The problem lies in the fact I can't have anything acidic or spicy. So stuff with oranges, lemons and tomatoes are right out. Honestly, most fruits are too acidic for me. My drink choices have become severely limited.
Did you know A&W Root Beer has no acidic stuff in it? The variants do, but not the original. Weird, eh?

Sorry to hear that, Tril. And Nya, that would be fun! Again, I have to wonder if Wizarding America came up with it. Americans are more innovative than most people when it comes to food, so anything is possible.

Trilonias: I suppose you could substitute the Pineapple juice for another juice, maybe Mango? or try cutting it all together and just add a half cup more the apple. kumainpink: Maybe or Japan could have, I can see both being more open to mundanes. mountaingirl777: oh did not know what was a soup, I was thinking it was a cream or dip like food.

Eh, I could try. We'll see. I'm not a fan of some of the fruits anyway. I could just try having some medication on hand...
Really, it isn't so bad. No apple, pineapple or mango for me! I think you'd be horrified to find out what else I cannot/should not have. Perhaps I can have just a sip sometime, when I have the medication around. Though I'd need others to have the rest...

Erm.... That is a lot of things to not be able to eat.. Um not sure there is a way to outright remove the juice, because you need the juice to add sweetness to it...

Oh, make it a pumpkin milkshake and add milk instead of juice. Brown sugar could be used to sweeten it just right...

Oh man, this looks delicious! And so do those cupcakes!
I know what I'm doing when Halloween rolls around... Harry Potter theme party, with food, music (Wrock included) and costumes! It'll be fun! I'll dress up as Umbitch because she's the scariest-looking character from the book! Well...scary enough to make children cry at any rate.

Yep, it is a bunch of fish (usually from that area or country) put into a broth. I don't remember all the fish in the one that I had, but I do remember Octopus, clams, and shrimp. there might have been some squid. It was all from the local grocery store, so I'm not to sure.
