I like fics where Harry actively interacts with all the houses and tries to get them all to mingle. Then tries to get the purebloods to see how ingenious muggle inventions are. I like these books to as well as soulbond fics. I also like good Dursley fics even though I have only found 3, one of which I can't find anymore *grumbles* one that seems to have been abandoned which was also a RtB, and one that is a WIP but is still being updated. I actually just found this last one yesterday and it is very good  It also has good Malfoys and Snape and manipulative/evil Dumbles. So it actually combines several of my fav themes. |

There was one quite good story that featured good Dursleys that I read recently. I can't remember what it was called, but it featured Vernon having been expelled from Smeltings and getting a job as a mechanic, while Petunia finished her nursing degree instead of dropping out. In that story, Harry and Dudley were both loved even though the salaries Petunia and Vernon made were half that of Vernon's salary from Grunnings.

I like severusphoenix's stories. Three slytherin mauraders is one of my favorite, though I try to read through neville's parts because it always makes me wince to not see a good neville.
overall I like to see Harry have a chance at enjoyign some of his childhood.

I love Jess.91's fics. She does great character studies fictions and relationships between characters. I also love MBP's fics. They're so sad at times, but they're beautiful stories about the Weasley family.

Not really. I generally don't read Main Character/OC's. If I ever read Remus fics in Hogwarts then he's usually with Sirius or Severus.

I love stories with Dudley. He's a messed up kid, but I believe he is a better person than he once was. I love to see him developed and/or sorry for the way he treated Harry. |

*snorts* Nice description there!  I quite like nicer Dudley fics too. I think there's a oneshot called The Hero or something like that where he helps get Harry to the Weasleys? That one was quite good. |

i love any sort of slash pairing but if the story is really well writen then i can read others, exceot harry?Ginny and Harry /Hermoine because in my opinion they both fell to much like sibblings to harry. I also like:
1.Reading the books that aren't cannon
2.Hermoine/Ginny/Molly/Dumbledore bashing
3. Good draco and Severus
4.Good Voldemort and Deatheaters
5.Reamus (And/or)Sirius (And/or) Severus rasing him like their own
6.Good Duddley
7.Veron and Petunis getting what they desevrved

I too like stories where Dumbledore is the Dark Lord instead, so Harry joins Voldemort, either as an equal, or as a Death Eater. And I also found that I do quite like stories where Marge Dursley finds out that Petunia is a lying little bitch who has brainwashed Vernon into believing that Harry is a waste of space. |

*shudders* Harry/Lucius? One of the pairings I avoid like the plague  While I like Dumbledore as the more bad guy, I hate Harry joining Voldemort or turning dark (though the way he was raised could have led to that, no doubt). Hm, I remember reading a story once where the two boys were left with Marge and she slowly found out that her dear nephew was the bad kid, not Harry, but that's all I have ever read in that direction. |
