It was not FFN, but I strongly suspect for them the same is true!

I've actually seen worse... but yeah the missing words and spelling mistakes are horrible.

*whistles innocently* Of course. I am always such a good little girl! In all honesty, how many here sneak into FFN or other websites at work? I do. I'm a housekeeper on a volunteer base and always on the go, but I have a Iphone and I can get on this site and some others. Sometimes I will sneak away and sit in a stall in the public bathroom or something. We have 4 multi-stall bathrooms (two with four shower stalls) that need to be cleaned and so I will sneak into there, pretend I'm cleaning.

School for me. It got worse once I got a laptop. The page is my bookmark, and from force of habit, I open it the minute I flip open my laptop. And then I get sidetracked...

Back when I was in High School, my school district had given us all school-owned laptops. They were horribly restricted as to where you could go on the internet and stuff like that, but I remember a period of a couple months where fanfiction.net was mis-categorized as "educational" by the third-party who ran the internet filter the school used. Those were probably the most glorious and grade-reducing months of my high school career.

Luckily for me, I could browse ff.net freely at my school. Hell, my english teacher actually praised me for reading in my *freetime* lol. ;D Then again, my high school wasn't all that good at enforcing policies.

Ever since I got my iPad, I don't go more than a couple hours without sneaking a peek at the site. Thankfully, the people that I work for are very kind in that regard and say that if I have spare time too, "Just kill it however you feel like it."

My school just offers free wifi. Do whatever the hell you want. Blocks? Why on earth should they use those? That's their motto . And my teachers all believe I'm such a hard worker if they see me typing quickly, none really bother to check the screens, and even if they did I can flip quickly. Honestly, i just got lucky this semester.

You are all so lucky - when I went to school, there was no such thing as computers around! No playing at school

Hey I work a job, I don't go to school anymore! When I did go to school though, pretty much everything (fanfiction, youtube, mugglenet, etc.) were all blocked. I guess that is what you get when your parents send you to a catholic school (at least the HP books were still allowed there, unlike the christian school I went to prior to that!)

I know, I love my school. Public schools are great, or maybe it's just mine. Either way, schools have really gotten lax about most things.

I think every second kid in my class has a laptop, and uses it for purposes other than school.

My parents wanted to send me to private, but the public school has the program I wanted to do (IB) and since it was cheaper to pay the public school's fees, we switched there

After Grade 6 I never got the choice because...well...suffice to say the bullies at my first and second schools didn't just stick with verbal abuse. So in the end I don't regret their decision ;D

I dropped out in 12th grade due to some personal incidents that got rather carried away. I regret dropping out and wish that I'd have finished, though. I got my GED a year later after studying by myself.
But I do have fond memories of school. *hearts* Merlin, I miss it...

I switched to a special program in grade 5 after some bad experiences, than things picked up and I found like minded-people. Then I experienced a new change around as I switched high-school and the majority of my friends drifted off to other schools. But I'm still doing good and I found even more like-minded people.

I have my own personal office (or as close to an office as a non-profit can get) so I get a lot of browsing done. In fact I'm currently posting from here

It is kind of hard when you live in a small town ( population 6,000) to go to many different school's without encountering the same people. Especially when there are only 2 choices for junior and senior high. But I am happy now and that is what matters right

I was home schooled Kindergarten through my senior year of high school, so I never had a problem with getting on the internet since fourth or fifth grade. And the college I'm going to, despite being a private college, has a campus-wide internet that doesn't have blocking. Or at least, ff.net isn't. I've gotten on there at campus before when I've had to go up with my dad to his office there.

They know that most people would complain about that and also, they know that most content on any website would be suitable for people 18 or over.
