As Howarts has yet to be played with on the main RP page, there are no summaries for it. Basically, start on here whenever you chose.

Darcie had seen the fight outside through a window. It shocked her, and angered the young girl. How could they attack innocent creatures? So she tore herself away from the window, and while most students watched in awe, she scurried down to the common room, set on trying to escape the castle.

"This is horrible!" Bastion shouted, watching as the forest he'd come to admire over the years was attacked. "We have to do something!"
"I'm afraid that we can't." Headmaster Trent said, exuding a cold rage. "The Ministry has barricaded the school, and even I don't have the power to reverse it. Besides, I will not allow my students to be harmed."
Bastion glared at the chaos outside, vowing that he'd never trust the Ministry again.

Darcie got out of the Hufflepuff common room easily- no one was in there to stop her. Thankfully, her two years of being alone and relatively friendless and quiet granted her knowledge of the schools passage ways... Maybe she could escape onto the grounds. The small girl soon found herself on the main floor, looking for an opening she could get through while watching for others who could stop her.

Yew watched the Nurse lady from the shadows. She'd slipped out of an open window to a tree looking into the Hospital Wing. This Nurse was working on Calla's leg. She muttered something about infection needed to be cared for and mending. Yew didn't know what infection meant, but she hoped her Calla Flower would be okay.
She looked to the forest. She needed to find her parents, but if Calla Flower got even more hurt, well, she needed to stay. When Calla Flower woke up and said she was okay, Yew would go to the forest and find her mum and dad.

Darcie had looked all day- classes had been stopped so that Teachers could stay alert and make sure nothing came at the castle- for a way to escape. But the barrier was full and she could not pass it with simple second-year spells. Finally, the sun set and all the people outside had disappeared. Darcie sat next to a window in a corridor on the second floor, looking desperately for a sign.

"This is a sad day, indeed." Alladine murmured gravely. "Both the forest dwellers and the aurors suffered quite a lot."
"Indeed." Sewlyn said miserably, looking out at the chaos from the Great Hall. "But I don't feel sorry for the aurors, they reaped what they sowed. It wasn't right what they did - attacking the forest like that. I warned the Minister not to send them here! They've never been a threat to us before, so why would they be now?"
"What do you suggest we do, Headmaster?"
Sewlyn's stared out at the window, deep in thought. He'd been considering this for a long time coming - what would happen if Hogwarts or the Forbidden Forest were attacked. It wasn't an option that he liked - knowing very well that his following suggestion would be considered illegal. And as he suggested it, Alladine took on a horrified look.
"We're going to Secede from the rest of the UK."

Turi had been viewing the battle from his classroom window all day, as he tried to grade essays. Now, he got up as it was over. Turi left the room and went to the staff room, to see if he could catch any news on the attack.

Alladine gaped at him. "Wait, what? Why would you want to do that? Are you mad?"
"We have no choice." Sewlyn replied, still facing the window. "Things could have easily gotten out of hand and spilled out into the school. And what they did was still wrong. I will NOT allow this to continue. Not at my school."
Alladine shook her head. Had he gone mad? "But sir, what good will this do?"
"It'll get the parents thinking." Sewlyn replied frigidly. "If enough parents see that their children do not like this war, the British Ministry might back off."
"But sir -"
"No buts! I'm done twiddling my fingers as things happen outside of my control! Everywhere else, I understand! But this is my school, I WILL NOT have this sort of barbaric behavior!"

After finding no one in the staff room, Professor Praesi left and instead headed toward the great hall. There he entered and saw Alladine and Sewlyn arguing.

"We can't just kidnap children!" she cried, aghast. "We'll be hated by the rest of the Wizarding World for this!"
"We're not kidnapping if they willingly stay behind! Honestly, woman, don't you get it? We need to educate as many children as we can about the truth! If they want to learn, I say we let them!"

Turi blinked, before finding he must interrupt, "Apologies for the intrusion," he began, "But why do you speak of kidnapping?"

Eric had spotted the girl outside his hut just as the battle was subsiding. Dashing outside, he picked her up and carried her to the school. Her leg was in bad shape, and he felt sorry for her. 'Why a student was out in the middle of that, I don't want to know,' he thought, as he climbed the stairs up to the hospital wing. After handing the girl over to the nurse, giving a brief explanation of where he had found her, he sat down to wait and see if she would be okay.

"Our esteemed Headmaster," Alladine spat the term out as though it were poision. "has decided that we're going to secede from the British Ministry!" she rounded on the man again. "I understand that you're upset, but there are more peaceful ways -"
"What they did wasn't peaceful."
"But sir! We have no right to do this!"

"Secede from the British Ministry?" Turi replied in shock, "What good would that do except give the Ministry more troubles to deal with?"

Sewlyn finally turned to face them, his expression grim. "If we secede and let the students willingly stay behind, we'll be showing the parents that the children don't approve of this. Parents usually rally around their children, do they not? If we let them stay here and secede, the Ministry will have no choice but to give in."
He allowed for a small, grim smile. "Besides, the Ministry is all the way in London, while we're here in Scotland. And here, the idea of harming a magical creature is disgraceful."

Considering his words carefully, Turi replied, "A fair idea," He admitted, "Couldn't they still ignore us and our wishes, and attack the forest anyway? After all, not a lot of the children have parents with high-ranking positions in the ministry. Some of the children may even side with the ministry due to their parental influence."

Everything hurt, nothing more so than my leg. What happened to me? I remember running back to the castle when I saw that the battle had started. I turned my head and saw that the groundskeeper was sitting beside me, "Sir, what happened to me?"

Henry Moor was strolling the Hogwarts corridors, doing his duties as a teacher as always. The battle outside had been long and vicious, and it was a horrible loss for the creatures. Pity. As he walked, he caught snippets of a very interesting conversation with the Headmaster, and two professors. Smoothing his robes, he stepped forward to greet them.
"I couldn't help but overhear, and I'm incredibly sorry," began Henry, "However, I think while the idea is brilliant, don't you feel the younger students may not be equipped to make such a decision? Forgive me for being impudent, Headmaster, but I cannot in all good conscienceness ask an 11 or 12 year old to choose a side in this war."

Sewlyn took their questions to mind, and pondered them for a moment. They were practical and logical concerns - some of which he hadn't taken into consideration.
"I think that fourth years and above should be allowed to chose, and the younger years based on how politically aware they are. I agree that not all children will be able to decide for themselves - some are too young to do so. Does that sound fair?"

Turi, while satisfied that the students over fourth year would choose a side still had many questions, "Why must they choose a side though? Can they not just stay, and remain neutral to the war?"

"It isn't that they have to chose a side," Sewlyn amended, realizing that he hadn't gotten his message across properly. "I only want those who would harm magical creatures - or see them harmed - removed from the school. The issue would start far too many fights among the students, and some may chose to do untoward things to the forest animals if given the chance."

"I am not sure my child," Eric replied, relieved to see the girl awake. "All I know is that you were injured in the battle and I brought you here to be mended. May I ask your name?"

Turi could see this point, "Yes, I do like that idea. Any child who would actively harm any creature, I don't really want to be teaching, or have other students around."

"I'm Calla Abby Potter and I was coming to find you. I needed some woodlice for my Bowtruckle Yew when the battle started, I turned back to the castle and started to run but I tripped and injured my leg." I told him.

Alladine huffed angrily. The idea did sound good, now that it had been ironed out, but it still didn't sit right with her. She hated what the Ministry was doing, but still...
"And what happens when we run out of money?" she sneered. "We can't run the school without out funding? What, you expect the parents to give everything out of the good of their hearts?"
Sewlyn gave her a cold look. "Sometimes, things are more important than money, my dear. But to answer your question, no, I don't expect them to. If that happens, it's good for us. I've spoken with the House Elves about this, and they've agreed to get us what we need." his look softened a bit. "Besides, there are those who would help us - we just have to reach out to them."

Eric shuddered at the thought of the bowtruckle, but pushed aside all thoughts of that by looking at the girl. "I am sorry that happened Ms. Potter and I am sorry I didn't get you to the castle sooner. I did not notice you until the battle was nearly over." In an attempt to make her feel better, he asked, "Would you still like me to get some woodlice for this bowtruckle of yours?"

So money would be an issue- though Turi could definitely see some parent as least donating, and perhaps any other people with pro-magical creature tendencies. They would have to eventually come up with more ways to provide financially though, they couldn't afford the amount it took to run hogwarts for long...

Henry listened with polite interest He was busy gathering as much data as he could. Money would be an issue, and he felt the idea was meritable. He finally decided it was time to intervene.
"Alladine," he said, gazing at her with a look of absolute seriousness, concern and exuding his own natural sexiness, because well, he was irresistable, he took her hand in two of his.
"Do you not trust Selwyn? Do not forget the villagers of Hogsmeade will want to help the school, we must get them involved as well. Alladine, you know both Selywn, Turi and I are going to make this idea foolproof. We cannot let this-this monstrosity to continue. I feel perhaps your too agitated, and your hand is ever so warm. You'll get a fever or worse if you worry too much. Relax, there is still much planning to be done," he said..
