"In that case, feel free to bring her along. We have a few subjects to fill yet, so she should be able to select the one she wants." At this point, Sewlyn didn't care how good she'd be as a teacher. They just needed positions filled. If Jamie proved to be a bad choice, she could always be given lesson plans and a student helper.

"I can call her to meet you, she's only a Floo Call away," said Henry with a nod, "We can work it out and have her ready to meet the students by breakfast."

"I would appreciate that, Henry." Sewlyn said brightly. "Thank you." Indeed, Henry proved to be quite the life saver. Not only was he helping with the financial situation, but now he'd found someone to be a replacement Professor. It was moments like this that he thanked Merlin for bringing him such a friend.

"Allow me to call her," said Henry. With a quick bow, he moved to use Selwyn's Floo.
"Moor Apartment," he whispered, before sticking his head into the fire.
"Jamie! Where are you!?" he called out to the empty apartment.

Jamie was sitting in her room, reading a book, as she hadn't much to do, and she was dressed comfortably. Henry wouldn't be there any way. Suddenly she heard Henry's voice call her name in the living room, and noticed no one was there, which only left one optiion, the fire work. She turned her head to the fire, and there was Henry's head in the fire.
"Hi Henry. May I ask what you're calling for?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"You said you wanted to help my cause, well, it's time to help. Floo yourself to Selwyn's office at Hogwarts. Congratulations, your a professor now," he said with a wry smirk. "I hope you like kids,"
He popped his head out of the fire, and waited. He loved catching Jamie by surprise.

She stared surprised at the fire, where Henry's head had been two seconds earlier. Teach? She had always been terrible at teaching, and now she should spend her days teaching children. She muttered angrily for herself.
"I will make him pay for it," she muttered. She wondered if she should take her time to change clothes, but then she sighed. It wouldn't make any good deeds to annoy the Headmaster, and she had a chance to do something instead of just being in this... apartment, and listen to people's who thought she was Henry's mistress.
She took a little powder from the pot, and then went into the firewoork, and yelled: "Headmaster Selwyn's office." She came out in Selwyn's office, after seeing several homes. She sent a short angry glare at Henry, before she smiled pleasantly at the Headmaster. "Hi. My name is Jamie Prewett."

Sewlyn smiled kindly at her. "Good morning, Ms. Prewett. It is a pleasure to meet you. So, you wish to be a Hogwarts Professor?"

She winced slightly, but put a bright smile upon her face. The Headmaster shouldn't know her discomfort by the idea of teaching. "Yeah. I simply love Hogwarts," she answered as she glanced around the office. It didn't do any good to tell him that she disliked the idea.
"What is available?" she asked, and hoped dearly, that it would at least be one of her favorite classes during her time, Transfiguration or Herbology.

Sewlyn looked at his list. "Transfiguration, Herbology and History of Magic." he recited brightly. "Do any of them interest you?"

Henry kept his face straight, enjoying Jamie's glare. He listened politely to the conversation, already formulating his plans.

She wondered idly where she would do least damage, when she tried to teach the students. "Of course, Head Master. All of them interest me," she said. She wondered then, if she should take History of Magic? She didn't know that much, but there she couldn't damage the children. But it was so boring.
"I would love to have Transfiguration," she answered just as brightly. She could send her students to the hospital wing, if something went wrong.

Sewlyn grinned. Jamie seemed to be just the right amount of enthusiastic about it. Perfect. "Alright, I'll write you down as the new Transfiguration Professor. Your classes begin Monday. With any luck, we'll find professors for the other two classes by then."

"If I may, Headmaster, it would be best if Jamie were given some rooms here as well," said Henry politely, "She would be strained travelling between the school and Britain, and the ministry may try and use her to get to us."

Jamie nodded to the Headmaster. "Of course," she only managed to say, before Henry interrupted. She just rolled her eyes. She wouldn't be capable of protesting, as it had been Henry's apartment, she had been staying at. And it was a good point, that it would be easier to stay there, rather than running forward and backward. She just sent the Headmaster a bright smile, which was definitely just as false, as her earlier smiles to the Headmaster.

Sewlyn nodded. "Of course, I wouldn't offer anything less! I think you'll be the best candidate to show her around, am I right?"

"It would be my pleasure, Headmaster," said Henry with a grin, "If you'll excuse us, I'll show Jamie around, and introduce her to the rest of the staff. Let's go Jamie."
With that he led Jamie out of the office, knowing she'd attack him with questions.

Jamie awaited until the door was shut, and hissed, although quietly. "What the bloody hell was that?"
She glared at him angrily. Teacher, she wailed in her mind...

"I need help in the school, and you were ready made," said Henry quietly as they walked down the hallway. "There are allies within the school, they just don't know it yet. Many undecided stayed thinking they're decided, or out of loyalty to the school and Selwyn. I need someone to help me find those and break their loyalties. We can't turn Hogwarts around without allies. Besides, teaching will be fun, don't you think?"

She continued to glare at him, but had to admit that his explanation actually made sense. And then she could do something, except just walk around useless. "All right," she said. "That actually makes sense. But for the second, teaching won't be fun, I can promise you," she answered easily. She glanced around hallway. "It has been years since I was here."

"It doesn't change much. Just new faces," he said, "Anyways, your first job is simple. Find teachers, befriend them, and learn what you can. They see me as some kind of idolized man. You would come across as the newbie, the eager helpful one they can open their hearts to. That's the goal."

She squinted at him, and then just sighed. "Fine. I'll be the eager newbie who gets them to spill their hearts out." As they walked, she added. "So you're the teacher who's idolized here by everyone? Nice job." It was unsaid, that it was a nice job for someone on Maxwell's side.

"Not so hard. I have a charm to me Jamie," he said, "And many were school friends or teachers. I used to be the golden boy. Let's head to the staff-room. In front of Selywn, I find you adorable and am hiding my feelings, in front of others, we're sibling-like friends. That way we have everyone's trust. How do you feel about me in the two situations?"

Jamie looked at him with a raised eyebrow. All right, he charmed the socks out of every teacher here. She wondered shortly why he wasn't loyal to them, but then she shrugged the thought of her. He had his own reasons.
"It's fine," she said, while she shrugged. Jamie thought it would be easier with the teachers, rather than with Selwyn. "Selwyn seems to trust you a lot, since you managed to convince him to make me a teacher."

"Like I said," he said in response, "I'm everyone's golden boy. And I used to idolize Selwyn when I was younger, and I never hid it from him. I desired a lot to be like Selwyn."
Henry couldn't hide the smirk as he remembered how close he was to achieving that.

She glanced at him at bit surprised. She snorted. "Really? Selwyn seemed a bit... desperate there. Not the type to idolize," she said and shook her head. "You're serious?"

"Very much so," he said, "I idolized him for being Headmaster. It takes a certain kind of man to run Hogwarts, and don't mistake his desperation for cowardice. He has seceded Hogwarts from the ministry. That takes guts. Now it's up to us to make sure this turns out advantageous."
They entered the staff-room to find it empty. No matter, professors came in all the time, and he had things to explain to Jamie.

Jamie raised her eyebrow. She had heard rumors that the Headmaster had done so, but apparently it was true.
"It seems like you still idolize him," she said with a straight face. She didn't exactly know Henry's feelings regarding the Headmaster were now. She looked around the staff-room. So it was how it looked, she mused. It was empty to her relief. So she didn't have to meet the professors yet.

Jamie raised her eyebrow. "I see," she said. "I can easily imagine that," she muttered. She looked once again around the staff-room, as she wondered where the other professors were... Professor Prewett. She would soon be called by that title ..
