Eleazar, after leaving work early with the excuse he had to help his mother and Rosemarie, was now getting nervous. He'd said yes without thinking, but he knew he still would've accepted. He couldn't not accept- this was his chance to avenge Rosemarie. So now he knocked on the door and waited.

Alice rushed to the door. This time she was prepared, and opened the door to be met with Eleazar's nervous face. Surprised, she looked at him for a few seconds.
"Eleazar? What are you doing here?" she asked in surprise.

Octavius entered sometime later, nearly late. But he had been far too busy looking at the information Marigold had given him. He'd make sure to bring this up at the meeting - Garrison had a lot to answer for! "Hello, everyone." Octavius said, his tone irate. "Sorry I took so long, but I just finished looking over the file Marigold sent me." Marigold beamed at the mention. He plopped down on the couch and sighed. "You guys aren't going to believe what I found."

Eleazar grinned at seeing Alice, he liked seeing her. She was basically like another little sister, and it was nice to be around her when she reminded him so much of how Rosemarie used to be. "I was invited to a battle against the dementors. Can't wait, it's about time we got rid of those horrible creatures." Then, his smile faded, "You're not going to fight, are you?"

Alice kept her face straight. She wasn't supposed to go, then she'd turn up and surprise everyone. She smiled, though she was a bit troubled. Why was Eleazar going straight away and not being tested too?
"Of course not! I'll be waiting here," she said, a bit too cheerfully, "Come in, I didn't know you were fighting."

"Good," Eleazar replied. His smile reappearing, he didn't want Alice to get hurt. What would he do if both of his little sisters were injured? "I didn't know myself until I was approached earlier today." He looked over her shoulder, "So, where are the devious plans being concocted?"

"Right this way, how is Rosemarie, by the way?" asked Alice softly as she shut the door. She didn't think anyone else was coming. They moved quickly down the hall towards the living room.

"Rosemarie is alright, definitely not all better, but she eats more then she used to. I don't think we'll be needing any more nourishment potions." He smiled at that, it was a small improvement, but he'd take what he could get.
As the reached the room, despite what Alice thought, another knock rang through the halls from the door.

Alice frowned in surprise. Someone else was coming?
"I'd better see who that is, I'm glad to hear about Rosemarie," she said with a smile, "Good luck in the meeting!"
With a quick wave, she headed to the door. She hoped whoever it was didn't mind waiting. Once she reached the door, she swung it open and smiled brightly at the new guest.
"Welcome!" she said, and then her smile faltered.

When Odin had gotten the letter, he had wanted to ignore it. After all, the vow said nothing about him fighting for them. But, he was kind of wanting to fight. A battle would be nice, and it would get them to trust him more. Maybe it would work out in his advantage.
So he had went, and knocked on the door. He glanced down at the girl with contempt. "I was asked to come for a battle." He said simply before giving her a mocking smile, "They aren't letting a little thing such as you fight, are they?"

Alice felt the familiar feelings of hate rolling off of Odin. She couldn't help but flinch, and his words hit home. She decided to do as she originally planned, and be as helpful as possible.
"I'll be staying behind," she said with a smile, "Why don't you come inside?"

Odin pushed pass Alice as she invited him inside. "They don't want you coming along, do they? No surprise there." After a moment he glanced around the hall way, "So where are they meeting up?"

"Just down the hall and to the left, follow me," said Alice, feeling more uncomfortable. Why was he so demeaning towards her? "And I'm more of a Healer anyways."

Choosing not to follow her, he instead followed her directions while in front of her. "Little mice are much more suited to the jobs of healing and homemaking." Odin's father had always taught him that women were beneath men, that they were to stay home, cook and have little babies. Now, those teachings were showing in his mocking of Alice.

"Excuse me?" asked Alice in surprise, and a bit of hurt. Why did he hate her?! He didn't seem to hate Cassalina.
"Have I done something to upset you?" she asked, worry pouring into her voice, "Or did my family? I swear I didn't mean to upset you in anyway!"

Her family? Odin hadn't the slightest clue why her family would have upset him. Honestly, he didn't know how to reply. He wasn't about to pour out his life story to the girl. "Haven't the slightest inkling about who your family even is. You're mere presence is what upsets me." His voice was just as cold as always- her presence did upset him. Reminded him of what he could not protect from his father.

Alice was a bit stunned at his words. She floundered for something to say, but wasn't sure what. She didn't know what to do. Nobody had ever hated her for just being her.
"I-I-I'm sorry?" she asked, confused.

Odin did not reply at first, merely glared at her. If only she would stop looking so much like Rachel- stop being so fragile and innocent looking, just like Rachel! "Are we going to the meeting or not?" he finally asked.

"N-No, I was-wasn't allowed," she stammered under his glare. She looked down at the ground, wincing. Why had she said that? She was just confirming to him that she looked weak, that she was a little mouse.

Despite his want to get her to leave him alone, that maybe if he were horrible to he she would go away and stop haunting him, seeing his mother look so upset made him feel slightly guilty. He pushed away the feeling and grinned in victory. "I see." Was all he said before turning away to enter the room, leaving Alice behind.

Veronica glared up at the Wolf-Boy. She didn't like his presence in the slightest, but knew Cassalina would handle it. Without a second glance at Wolf-Boy, she turned to Maxwell. He'd call the meeting to order.
She glanced over to Henry, who was entirely too relaxed. She wondered if the man ever grew irritated. His easy smile at Maxwell suggested he too was ready.

Odin opted for standing, and he glared back at Veronica. He knew very well he would get quite a bit of trouble for being a werewolf, but he wasn't about to let them get to him.

Maxwell stood up, though it strained him to do so. He wore a formal expression, and kept his tone pleasant. "Hello, everyone. Thank you for coming out here this evening. I thank you for coming out here to further the anti-creature cause." He looked to everyone in the group. "There is something you should know, even before we start. What we are doing is illegal. For some reason, the Ministry doesn't want to take action against the Dementors. But we must. If that bothers you, please leave. Just know that you will be obliviated."

Veronica looked around the room, searching potential traitors. No one seemed to stand out, though she saw Henry looking entirely bored.

Seeing that nobody was bothered by this - at least, not enough to betray their cause - Maxwell continued. "As many of you know, these creatures are nearly indestructible. But, I have found a way." He took off the first portion of his cloak, and muttered a quick Finite, revealing the detailed runes and painful looking skin. "Heliopath fire is the one true weakness they have. I've taken it into myself, and will be the one to destroy them. But, I will need everyone's help to keep them at bay. I'll only be able to target one at a time."

"Of course," said Henry with a nod, "When will we be leaving?"
He covered up his impressed feelings. Maxwell had one-upped him by taking on the runes, but they made his body ugly. At least he'd never look so, scarred.

Odin was honestly impressed. He knew of the ritual necessary to gain the power of Heliopath fire and it was not a nice one. This man was definitely a good leader for the battle, maybe Odin would gain by being on Maxwell's side.

"In three days." he answered, covering himself back up. "I still need to recover, and get used to this power. For now, I would advise everyone to brush up on their Partronus charms, if they haven't already."

Three days? Lacey didn't like that. She wanted to go kill those horrible monsters now! But, she'd have to wait. With an impatient look on her face she questioned, "Are we meeting here again in three days then?"

Maxwell's eyes narrowed. He did not like this girl's attitude. "Yes. By then, a special portkey shall be made. Any other questions?" He sat back down, as his knees felt just about ready to give out.
