Well it is sad when such an event occurs when we are in a crisis at the moment in time in which we could be getting deleted if we don't remove the stories..
But even at that it is a big thing.

*nods* I have been on a lot of sites and watched over countless others, I have never seen a site grow to such an extent in such a short amount of time.. And a good many of them actively participate in at least the General area if not in writing.

Granted, it has probably to do with so many authors pointing their readers here, but that's not necessarily a guarantee. And the amount of people here is staggering. Even if there are many silent readers, as you said, there are many participating.

Just looked in the member list out of 67 pages of members there are 13 1/3 pages of members who have at Least 1 post... You know looking at that, it is not so good in the stats lol.

Same here. I was among the first who registered, the board can't have existed more than a day or two. So, two months and a few days at most.
Well, it's clear that many just lurk, but you have to admit, the few who *do* post have done an outstanding job to drive the post count up. Over 30,000 posts already!

I am a half stalker as I do actually post, not much but some subjects just not much into commenting or everything could say has already been said most times lol. So I often just try to come up with new topics to chat about and see where they go.

I tend to comment more on threads where I can keep up. When I get up in the morning and find 5 new pages, not so much. Too busy catching up, and I tend to read first to see if not someone has made all my arguments already. (And besides, now and then I am supposed to do my paid work, not play  ) |

lol that is true, there has been more then a few threads that have done the same. Either that or it goes way off topic, then I just mostly comment on the thread topic and leave it as they lost me lol.
