Timmy made a face at the mention of medicine, but sat down anyway. His stomach didn't rumble, but the thought of food was enough to make him behave. "So, Arthur, what are transformations like as a group? I've heard it's easier to deal with."

"Hahaha," Isobel started shopping up some vegetables.

"Group transformations are easier with wolfsbane," corrected Arthur as he sat down across from Timmy, "And between close werewolves without wolfsbane. The transformation itself is still painful, but once you transform, a wolfsbane induced wolf who can control the blood-lust will recognize the wolves around as friend or enemy, and behave accordingly. That way the night passes easier since the wolf will concentrate on something other than the blood-lust. That's what it'll be like for us."

"Well, that's a relief, at least. The last thing any of us needs are new scars, right?" He said this while looking out the window. It was getting really dark out. From the distance, he could see where his hole was. Perhaps he'd visit it afterwords, and make sure nothing important got left behind.

"Yeah, it's much better. We'll be more energized tomorrow as well, and need less healing," said Arthur with a nod, "Have you done group transformations before, Isobel?"

Isobel snorted, she was around a group of people, no werewolves. She decided not to mention that, "Not really."

Joshua had trailed around in the village after he had put the groceries in Arthur's kitchen. He hadn't gone upstairs, as he heard the voices. He wasn't a man who trusted people easily, but he supposed that Isobel would manage the boys, and he had since then walked around the village aimlessly, and reached now Arthur and Timmy's house. The night was soon coming on, and Joshua hurried to check on the trio first, before he planned to go home in his cellar. He preferred to be alone, no matter how painful it was.
He came inside the door without knocking on, and heard the voices were in the kitchen now. Hmm... So they were cooking now, and he went to the door to kitchen, and watched them silently.

Arthur grinned, "So, I'm the only one who's done this before? Excellent! It's a bit crowded down by the shelter, and the occasional fight breaks out, but usually things are pretty calm if you stick to your pack."
Before he could continue, he noticed the old man by the door, and scowled. Then he grimaced, realizing he still had to pay back the old man. He'd scowl later, first it was time to pay him back. "Hey old man," he said, "Thanks for the groceries. How much did it come to?"

Joshua wanted to shake his head amused, but didn't do it. Arthur's demeanor changed obviously as he saw him, but he just glanced toward the Timothy. He walked in to a chair, where he sat himself.
"You decide," he shrugged. He didn't care how much money Arthur gave him back. If Arthur payed less than he had bought he would keep it, if more, then he would give the money back. He doubted Arthur would agree to these terms, but he just glanced toward Timmy. "Have the adults behaved?" he asked teasingly.

"Arthur he haves a name," Isobel turned to face Arthur. She doesn't know why Arthur isn't fond of Joahua.

"I don't care if he has a name," grumbled Arthur, getting up and moving to his money drawer. He fished through the galleons, wishing he could remember the prices. "Here, thirty-five galleons." He slapped the money down in front of Joshua. It was a bit steep, but more than enough to cover everything, and more proof he didn't need a rich man's charity.

Joshua sighed and he looked down at the thirty-five galleons, before he took seven galleons of and pushed them back toward Arthur. "Satisfied?" he asked gruffly. He had taken one or two more off, but it was hopefully enough that Arthur wouldn't notice it. Hmm. It seemed like Isabel and Arthur had turned to friends to Joshua's satisfaction.

"Thank you," said Arthur stiffly. He turned to Isobel, "Need any help then?"
It was odd in the kitchen. Joshua who he disliked seemed to know more about him than Isobel, who he'd decided was his friend. Then there was Timmy, who was too young to understand anything. Never had his life become so complicated. Never had he been so happy as he had in the last couple of days.

"You can get some bowls and spoons," Isobel answered. She turned to Joshua, "Are you staying for dinner?"

Arthur moved to grab the bowls out of the cupboard. He didn't care much for the old man's staying or going. He'd need to check on grandma again though, and put her to sleep through the night.

"They were fighting earlier, but now they're behaving." Timmy said to Joshua, teasing. But the idea of having a pack was making him excited. No changing alone! He was nearly bouncing up and down in his seat.

"Timmy stop bouncing before you get sick or fall off the seat," Isobel scolded Timmy.

Joshua smiled at Timmy. "Really? That's great for you," he said with a smile. He ignored Arthur, as he smiled to Isobel. "I think I am. There's no one home after all."

Timmy did the mature thing and stuck his tongue out at Izzy, but stopped bouncing. He found he couldn't keep still, though, so he fidgeted a bit in his seat.

"So, where are you going to be for your transformation, old man?" asked Arthur, setting the bowls out in front of everyone, "You don't seem like the type to go to the shelter's cellar."

Joshua sat down, and looked at Arthur. "I've got my own cellar in the house. It's probably why you haven't seen me there," he said gruffly, knowing that it would probably be one of the things that antagonized Arthur even more against him. The cellar had been one of the reasons he had bought the house. He glanced toward Timmy. "You're welcome to transform there, any time you want." He offered that to everyone, although he gazed at the boy.

Isobel grabbed Timmys and Arthur's bowls and poured soup into them, and sat them bacl infront of them. "Thank you Joshua," Isobel hoped Arthur wasn't about to start an argument with Joshua.

"Yeah, thanks," said Arthur with a glower at his soup. Of course he had a fancy shelter. Stupid rich wolf. "We're going to the shelter tonight though, Timmy's never had a group transformation, and neither has Isobel."

He smiled friendly at the three wolves, and said hastily, "Of course. I remember those group transformations..." he trailed off. "It has been years though," he said and shook his head. Sentimentality didn't do any good.

"I can't wait!" Timmy said excitedly. When he realized how that sounded, his smile dropped a little. "I mean, I know the transformation is painful, but I've always hidden in a hole or a cave. I'm just looking forward to seeing what this is like." Feeling a little awkward, he started on his soup. Mmm tomato!

Arthur flinched at the mention of holes and caves. That was no place for a kid like Timmy to have to transform! He began drinking his soup, and resisted the urge to glare at Joshua. For all his money, he could have set up places for kids like Timmy! In truth, he just wanted an excuse to be angry with Joshua. The man made him uncomfortable since he knew so much Arthur's life, and had money. Those two things made him unsure how to respond to the man, and he settled with anger.
"The shelter's pretty crowded," said Arthur to Timmy, "We won't be the only wolves there, but we can stick to our own corner. I suppose you'll be staying in your cellar, old man?"

Joshua's smile dropped right away, by the mention of holes and caves. He donated money every year to the werewolves, but he knew it didn't do good in the entire. He was pretty selfish. "Really. Well I hope you're staying in the shelter or something else," he said lightly.
He shrugged, and said to Arthur; "I suppose I'm, but perhaps I'm going for an adventure. It's been long."
