Not quite releasing Robby, Rylan hissed in his ear. "Yes, he did. However, we can't be attacking people in front of Aura! She's distressed as it is, and we shan't make it worse. As much as I'd like to give this man a piece of my mind, now is not the time!" He dearly hope that his friend would listen, and slowly loosened his grip, though he didn't completely let go. Not until he was sure Robby wouldn't strike again.

Aura who was watching the scene as it unfolded sank to the ground. Wondering why the man was saying such things. She stares at the men, not sure what she should do.

Robby nodded, and leaned back, still trying to shrug Rylan off. His temper was burning, but even he knew this wasn't the right moment. And since the man had shut up, he wasn't as angry as before. But he made no promises to behave himself. Turning to Aura, he glanced at the woman and sighed.
"Let's get her out of here," said Robby to Rylan, "We can scour the area for valuables that she may require later on."

Aura hears this and slowly gets up from the ground. She glances back toward the manor one last time before making her way to the horses.

Satisfied that Robby was alright for the moment, Rylan released him. He glanced at the man on the ground and scowled, "Try anything funny, and I won't stop him next time." He warned angrily, glancing at the knife again.
"Yes, let's go." He replied, looking back toward Aura.

Aura, not even looking at the boys starts to mount the horse. The tears are burning beneath her eyes, but she is determined to wait until she is alone.

Robby glanced back at Aura, and he glances nervously at Rylan. What was he supposed to do with a sad girl? He headed to the horse, wondering if he could head back and just keep pummeling the guy instead.

(shakes head. Oh Robby, you have so much to learn.) Aura sits on the horse thinking about today and prays for a better tomorrow. She looks at Robby whose confused look makes her smile, if only a bit. "don't worry. I'm not going to burst into tears just yet."

As Rylan approached the horse, he gave a bit of a force laugh when he heard Aura. "Oh don't mind him, he's got about as much charm as a sack of bricks, and no knowledge of handling a girl."

"Well, Your welcome to make yourself at home with my family until you can find you own way. My sisters always love playing hostess." Rylan replied in a friendly tone, glad that Aura wasn't still distraught.

Robby scowled at his friend, and made a rude gesture when Aura wasn't looking before humbly turning back to her and saying, "Amelia and Vicky will be more than happy to have you over. Pretty sure Amelia planned that anyways. But feel free to go where you like. We'll have to drop the horses over at Rylan's place anyways."

"It was our pleasure," said Robby as he slung himself up on the horse behind Aura, before turning to Rylan and Joshua, "Shall we race to get to Rylan's place?"

Rylan looked back at Joshua and grinned as she spoke to Robby. "Well it's not much of a race if we win by a mile, is it?"

As if on cue, Delilah snorted, Rylan rolled his eyes. "It seems she agrees with Joshua on this one!"

The farm boy threw the both of them dirty looks, sneering as he said, "Well, Petunia will make sure we win! Won't you girl?" The horse simply snorted and turned her head away. Robby scowled and got up on to the horse as he turned and said, "Race starts now!" And with that, he kicked off, laughing as he left behind the two.

Aura let's out a squeal of surprise and the sudden movement. The wind flows thorough her hair. 'i wonder if this is what it feels like to fly?' she thought.

"Having fun?" Asked Robby from behind Aura as they moved quicker. He didn't look back to check on his friends, sure they were cursing him and quick to pursue.

Aura laughs and says "yes. I've never ridden this fast before. I was always told it was 'improper' for a lady." She looks behind them and sees that Rylan and Joshua are fast approaching.

The sky was slowly begging to darken as they reached Rylan's place. Aura could not stop giggling at the fact they won the race. She could hear Robby bragging to his friends, but she couldn't bring herself to care. That was the most fun she had, had in a while. She hoped it wouldn't be the last.

Rylan didn't have a chance to reply before Robby was off, however, Rylan didn't need to worry about the head start, as Delilah shot off right as Petunia did. He gave a gasp of surprise before regaining composure and soon catching up too Robby.
"Ready to lose?" He called as they began to pull away.

Robby glared back at Rylan and Joshua as he gave Petunia a last spurt, a smug smirk on his face as he said, "Not a chance!"
With that, the boy moved the horse at a high-speed gallop, completely unfazed at the fact that Aura sat before him and may or may not get scared at the speed they were going at. He could hear Rylan's sisters seeing them coming, obviously having guessed what the two were up to.

Rylan rolled his eyes at Robby's attempts, after all, if there was one thing he knew how to do, it was how to control his horses.
He urged Delilah to come up beside Petunia, and then clucked his tongue. Petunia immediately began to slow down, almost to a halt. Rylan laughed as he left Robby to deal with the horse. "Never laid down any rules!" He called back.

"you probably should have thought about that before you decided to have a race." she told Robby as she patted the horse's neck.
"what do you think we should do now?" she turns slightly to look at him with narrowed eyes.

As Petunia slowed down, he glared at Rylan's back, clucking his own tongue. The horse obstinately rolled her head and began to trot to the house at Robby's urging.
"You're a cheat, Ry!" he called out to his friend, a joking manner in his voice, before he shrugged to Aura and said, "Let's get Petunia to the stable and figure out where you're sleeping tonight. Don't worry, Rylan's sisters are pretty cheerful."
